when i bought mine and my wifes we bought 2 phones screen protectors cases and car chargers and it was around $718 or something like that. what they dont tell you is that theres a $10 upgrade fee per line...

might take a lil more than dialing *228 to port over a #, but it can be done with a phone call n OTA.

You're thinking about transferring a number from another carrier, upgrading your Metro phone takes about 10 minutes.

even from another carrier at the store. its less than an hour. how i know. my brother just swicthed from at&t to metro christmas. he hoping the cat3 sims can work with iphone. but yeah =]

They said that to manage expectations in case there is a delay. Coming from a major carrier it should be very quick ... sometimes 15 minutes. Texting may take a little longer. If you are coming from a prepaid like, say ... tracphone - your results may vary.
