[Over] Droid Bionic Lapdock still available for $89.99

So is there a trick to installing additional software on the lapdock?
My company uses a java applet for VPN and I tried various times over the weekend to install that add-in to FF without success.
Has anyone else been able to install the java runtime add-on for FF?

I just click on the Home button until it brings up all the Home Screens, then select the one I want.

And, for the battery level, I just click on the battery indicator at the top of the screen and select the Dock to see how much battery is left.
 
Thanks! I bought the 79.99 deal BUT they did charge $5 for delivery so this only ends up costing you only $5 more than the other deal...not bad if you saw that deal too late.

HE HE -- and if you thought the battery didn't last with the small screen :)

This thing would give you about 30 minutes power running off the phone batt.

Got my lapdock(s) today -- sad ICS doesn't work. Rolled back to try it.

Anyone know how to zoom/pinch zoom effectively?

Plugged in a wireless mouse and worked instantly -- that I love :) Hey, they should've thought of this a long time ago! A nice size screen, mouse and keyboard you can bring around wherever you go! INGENIOUS!! ;)

I don't think the touchpad has multi touch enabled so no pinch to zoom. Double tap to zoom is available though.

I have never used the LD 100 before but I can say that this one does get quite laggy at times.

Overall it serves the purpose for my needs of general web browsing.

It crossed my mind to buy it, but I have no real reason to own it and like yourself would probably end up selling it anyways. :D

I'm starting to get very careful about what I buy because the used value of these phones and accessories is terrible...
 
Two quick questions about the lapdock:

- Sometimes I get a left click action when only hovering over something rather than actually left clicking. Any way to change this so that it only happens when I click?

- When using Google Reader and clicking through to certain sites (have noticed it with Lifehacker and Cnet) it opens the mobile view of the site rather than the full size view. Any way to change the default to make it always open in full size?

After the ICS upgrade (we are going to receive) we are going to get NEW Webtop software (which is out on Beta now) which should speed things along and will also take advantage of our Dual Core processor that GB does not. Also, Firefox (which uses tons of memory) is replaced by the ICS browser for tablets.
 
I just ordered from eBay. 79.99 out the door. But as soon as I finalized my order, I realized I have my shipping address as my residence address. Not my PO Box. I contacted the seller, and one of their FAQ's are, "
Can i change my address?
1saleaday : Unfortunately once an order has been placed, we are unable to change the address."

SO I contacted them, seeing if there is anything I can do. Granted, it is my fault for not double checking my address listed on eBay, but it will suck it I have to wait for it to get here, be returned as undeliverable, go BACK to them, and have them have to turn around and re send it.... We'll see, I guess....

**UPDATE (for anyone that cares... lol)

Turns out they will be shipping via UPS. So yeah.... No prolems. Got the email today that said it shipped w/ UPS tracking info. I feel like a silly goose. lol**
 
Just a thought MODS, maybe you can COMBINE both of these threads since they are titled ALMOST the same:

I too am on a mission to get java working with webtop. Haven't yet had the time to do any thorough web searching on the subject. Will post any helpful links I come across.

Not sure how it'll look if those two threads were merged. The post from these threads will be thrown somewhere in the middle of the other thread and it might read funky. I'll report my post and see what the Mods think.

Yeah, my initial thought would be to merge this thread (its much smaller) into the much larger one.

But you'll end-up with exactly the issues that happens when similar threads both become of any size...there'll be a little confusion.

I'm happy to merge threads (or let xmr405o take the reins), but I would vote moving this smaller into the larger.

If we do this, you guys could post in here (there? :p?, LOL) afterwards to point-out what post highlights the best, ongoing deal / sale, etc. That would help newcomers know that are reading from the top-down what the scoop is (and/or get IOWA to update the OP with any new info--that would smooth the merge transition).

I don't feel strongly either way...up to you guys! :)
