Root overclock kernel for evo gingerbread

[lohold2000]

has anybody come up with a standalone oc kernel for the evo running rooted gingerbread? Thanks in advance.

Not as of yet. I don't believe that HTC has released the source code for the new kernel. As soon as that is released, you will see kernels coming out that will allow for better battery life and over/underclocking.

Can't wait for the custom kernels for Sense/GB roms. Should help in the battery department

i know! netarchy has some kernels that work but they bork the camera preview

The netarchy kernel also creates a brightness bug (stuck on max brightness) for those who have a Novatec panel.

Also, you might not be able to view any videos after flashing the new kernel on GB. You will hear the audio, but all you will see is a white screen. This is regardless of the video application or app that you are using.
