Root Overclocking #2 Rom?

I want to overclock my esteem to either 1.8 or 2.0 ghz on the #2 rom. Can anybody help me out with a good Kernel that can be overclocked the most, without the loss of features. Battery life isn't tooo much of a concern.
 
Either plague or blitzkrieg. Both offer OC capabilities.
Blitz usually can't OC as high as plague without bootloop, I could only get 1.6 but could get 2.0 no problem on plague.
Try both out, your phone may react differently than mine.
Before flashing, read the instructions and, most importantly...

MAKE A BACKUP
 
Plus 1 to what manly said.. Backup is very importantbut just as important as that, is make sure you don't click set on boot until your sure it doesn't boot loop
 
Keep a copy of the stock speed kernel on your sd as well. So you can switch back on the fly.
 
keep in mind though... mt's and i think pg's kernel may both have that call recording mod etc.. in the kernel... but im almost positive i dont have any of the required files for some of them to work. so they may act funny on the rom :( sorry i'm just not a kernel guru so i have no clue whats needed if anything is needed at all... lol
 
The only Kernel I've ever had any luck with being as smooth as the stock speed kernel is blitz. Plague lags like a mofo. B plague was better than D plague. Homeless lagged like a mofo as well.

I've never had once instance to where I needed to over clock. I used to like having it just to have it, that is until I started using the speed kernel. It gets the job done and done well.

plague never lags for me, Smooth as butta.. maybe its that 1.0 phone of yours.:p

If I put B plague on the phone it works fine. Hell even the extreme plague worked fine. Battery life just sucked.

Plus my phone stays under clocked around 700ish anyways so over clocking to me is about as useful as a woman cutting grass. :p

Don't sweat it driftizzle. Your updated kernel kicks major ass. I've tried Plague & Blitzkrieg, but they quickly started lagging. The performance zip is perfect.
 
Yeah I dont care either way. Like Ive said before, over clocking is over rated and is nothing but a battery waster. Hahaha. Im gonna make a rap out of that. lol

I don't think there is anything wrong with plague, I think you're just a fussy person, one of those guys that ties his shoes than tucks the shoe laces inside the shoes. Than secretly puts on skullcandy's :rolleyes:

So because something doesn't work right I'm a fussy person?

I guess shiny, L, PG and SU are all fussy people because we have all had issues at some point with something not working. As well as every other user on here.

Or maybe we are the only people that sees past "placebo" and has any sense of logic. Maybe ;)

Plus if i was intentionally being a"fussy" person, i would say everything is garbage and doesn't work.

Please don't make assumptions of your personal views of me. You don't know me. And i prefer the term asshole to fussy. ;)
