Root Overclocking past 1.6ghz

I hope you don't think I'm asking for an eta or getting impatient, my comment was in direct response to this threads op wanting a faster kernel.

I know you guys are doing what you can, the only thing that frustrates me is that I cannot help. I'm fully open to being a tester however when the time comes. Like I said in another thread good things come to those who wait. Allow the devs to do what they do and help out whenever possible.

I don't think that you or anyone else is getting impatient. For me, sometimes its difficult to translate what i mean to say to text ;)
Everyone on the elite has been very patient for a long time.
I just wanted everyone to know, we are working on it! :):):)

Can you share to me what you did?
 
john, my response wasnt directed to you at all. you were the nearest analogy to a separate incident and i used your case to help illustrate my point at the time. irrelevant now, but my point was not you john, but rather the "kid"

I do not want the positive flow of things here to be interrupted again. Thank you to all who have developed for this phone and who are continuing to dev for it. all i ever wanted was for everyone to stop "hating" on each other and bickering over this or that.

I will go out on a limb and say that CyanMod is close, and it means that in the ~ 1 year i have owned an elite, i have watched it grow from a bloated out and under-speced device that no one appreciated; and then pune, and leslieann showed us some love, and with a beefier clock and a clean rom base we were off.

i am so proud to watch this happen. you people realize this is art. this is like magic. its only a wait until its done, then you have it, and there's nothing left to lust for. be thankful we have so much and the people around to make it all happen :)


\\ i for one am gonna miss lurking this forum so hard. i'd imagine once cm -> aokp -> maybe PA
but then like an explosion, once over, only the still remains. its been a great run. \\

Okay guys, here's the deal...I've deleted several very unnecessary posts (and edited a few others) from the start of this thread to some recent ones.
