what to do is your intentions the phone can be under or over clocked through max/min so be careful not to push it to far or even under volt it. freezes or
sluggish scrolls etc..

No i am on the stock rom but i am rooted.
And also the max slider is already at the end without me even doing anything so that is my question. should i just move the min slider up?

The stock ROM and kernel do not support overclocking. If you want to overclock you will need to install a custom ROM.

You can install the "Picasticks remix anykernel" kernel.
After downloading the .zip (it needs to stay zipped) put it on the root of the sd card (near the bottom of the list of file folders, just not in a folder).
Get into your recovery and select "wipe cache partition" option. After that is done select "advanced" section. Then select the "wipe Dalvik cache" option. When that is done hit the back button which will bring you back to the main recovery menu where you will select the "install zip from sd card" option. Scroll down to " toggle signature verification" and select it. If you look at the bottom of the recovery screen it should say "Signature Check: Enabled. Scroll down to "toggle signature verification again and select it. It should now say: "Signature Check:disabled"
Select "select zip from sd card". This will take you to the root of your sd card. Scroll up to get to the bottom quicker(looping scroll function) and select the Picasticks remix anykernel.zip. After it is done installing hit the back button and then select "reboot system now"

After you reboot your system twice(wait for your system to fully boot up before rebooting) you should be good to go.

Start out at 480MHz min (this is where it should stay if your over 600MHz)
729MHz max.
Then take it up on setting at a time on the max untill it causes your system to reboot (do not select "set at boot" option untill later). Once it does this then take it back down 2 settings. This is where you can be safely overclocked to and get the best battery life as well.

Enjoy!

Edit: forgot to include the link to the kernel: http://forums.androidcentral.com/op...black-screen-custom-recovery-custom-roms.html

Duh! A Custom recovery is a must. Good question roym6.
If needed:
Proper recovery and flash_image as well as install instructions can be found in my link as well as The flash_image GUI (allows you to install the recovery with one or two clicks).
