Paris and terrorism

and for you.. the answer would be...
to throw 100% of these gumballs in to the trash disposal...

to be clear.. each gumball .. represents a human being .. right?
The metaphor was :each gumball was (specifically) representing a Syrian Refugee. Would you chance integrating/eating a poisoned gumball cuz the others MAY not be poisoned? Sorry, not me. I wouldn't eat ANY - I HAVE CHILDREN TO PROTECT!! The trash disposal wasn't even part of the equation, it was a simple metaphor referencing choices of accepting refugees and the potential dangers involved.. You must not have little children to protect or you wouldn't chance it either. And if you WOULD chance it, then unfortunately you're completely oblivious to reality of our present situation. Good luck staying alive when $h¡t hits the fan. If you don't really care (cuz ur too old or "whatever") then you have no business being here protesting or trying to censor our comments. With all due respect tho, get outta the way and let ppl defend the rest of us all.

bombing them all... don't worry about the collateral damage... was your solution.
given your metaphor.. and your solution set.. = all gumballs in the trash disposal.
my whole argument is about.. NOT punishing the innocent with the guilty.
I am NOT against retaliation against the extremist/terrorists. I say kill them all in very painful long ways.

NO.. I would NOT want to randomly eat one of those gumballs.
but I would want to save as many good ones as possible. and Throw the poison ones in the trash disposal.

Understandable, but the disposal is seemingly your focus. I just wouldn't have ANY, especially if only one can kill many. Personal opinion? I would only MAYBE consider allowing just children (like 5yrs & under) in due to the less probability of having been corrupted by extremists, they might be morally salvageable. Since that idea most likely won't be accepted as reasonable, don't let ANY refugees in from Syria. I call that "Common Sense"
The bomb idea? That's because I don't think that doing any less to ISIS would get their attention to the fact they're doing wrong and need to stop

bombing their camps and Known base of operation... where most (more than 95%) of them are ISIS.
of the 5% or less that are NOT ISIS should NOT have been there.. they are not totally innocent.
Precision bombing so that the damage is contained within the target area.
Cool.. let them rip.. level the area to dust!!!!!

BOMBing from 10k feet above with Nukes or WMDs..
were the damage is many miles outside the target area..
NOT cool!!!!!

refugees...

in USA.. other than the native Indians...
most are refugees... and criminals ... and slaves... that make up most of USA.

Umm.. Sorry sir. You are incorrect. We are mostly IMMIGRANTS, not refugees. Big difference, bro.

Exactly. Refugees (SOME of them).. Not immigrants. They (ISIS) are utilizing refugees as a Trojan horse and already proved it. The Trojan horse brought down the strongest nation that existed. Do the math..

what? strongest nation?
Greeks took down the CITY of Troy with their Trojan horse trap.

:( you make me sad

Bahahah. Troy was considered a nation at that time, not just a city. Troy wasn't exactly Greek either. Nation - has it's own government, ruling entity. Aka: King/Queen, Lands, populace.. You get the idea. But anyways, I think (@dan330) you're a bit lost in the realm of perspectives and definitions.. Good Night all.

Edit: This is what is discouraging and makes more than just ME sad..

Trump rises in wake of Paris attacks

Trump’s gains show him once again confounding Beltway wisdom, where the widespread view was that such a grave event would lead voters to look toward White House candidates who are purportedly more mature and sophisticated than the erstwhile star of “The Apprentice.”

Instead, it seems that Republican voters have found themselves drawn to Trump’s emphatic rhetoric.

Trump is an egomaniac... a bully.. and a loud mouth.

I for one.. do NOT want him in charge of the largest and most powerful military in the world.
he will run it like he does his business. pushing/bulling the little guy
his way or else! how do you think like mean countries like North Korea will react?

the world is in a very delicate balancing act ... between peace and war
Trump is a short fuse.. and will put USA at war with many countries.
him and his mouth will write checks.. that we (USA) are not willing or can not pay!

I have mixed feelings about Trump but plz remember some of this is personal opinion influenced by facts..

Pros:
- He's our best chance for a real set of BALLS in the Whitehouse and probably the only one who'll put the hammer down on ISIS.
- We may really Need that wall, Lol.
- Virtually everyone else wants to push that Politically Correct "tolerance" stance. He's certainly not a PC guy..
- He's a realistic business Mogul who has real finance knowledge to help deal with our budget. He's bailed many a Company/Corp/Conglomerate out and even produced profit. Also, ObamaCare needs shut down cuz if the American ppl really wanted it, it wouldn't have required a law to force it. PEOPLE ARE LOSING THEIR ENTIRE INCOME TAX RETURNS from being unable to purchase insurance!! I'm hoping Trump has a better (more realistic) solution. All our best Presidents had GUTS and was unwavering when being serious and had to call shots.
- Trump isn't Muslim, which is a big part of our problems with Obama refusing to ensure our safety from ISIS.
- He's also not a part of special interests parties and won't owe them a dime or favors. I'm thinking that may be a part of Obama's ridiculous laws he's been enacting.
- He's pro guns: Obama has been steadily disarming us since he hit office without realistic sensibility and I think Trump may give us our shit back! This country was FOUNDED on gun rights and we need to get back to that. Don't gimme BS about guns killing ppl cuz that's like saying spoons make ppl fat. Get real.

Cons:
- I actually agree with @dan330 on Trump's mouth/attitude causing potential issues with N.Korea (for example) cuz their dictator is always threatening the US with "Weapons unknown to this world".. They're REALLY CLOSE to the Dragon's Triangle and those who know about that location would have reason to be cautious in dealing with the unknown from there. But mostly feel that THAT will not become a possible issue until after ISIS is dealt with.

It's time to put political correctness back in the cupboard.

I have no interest in debating Washington politics at this venue but I'd sure as hell agree with that statement. I think many of the problems we see today are a result of PC. For some it's been a bane of existence since the onset, for others it started out as good intentions yielding negative results. I don't care who's who within those two factions, its a recipe for failure.

Everybody doesn't win. Everybody doesn't get to play. There are no participation medals when real life comes knocking and the fact we are not all the same is our strength, not something to be "fixed". Better to embrace that and use it as leverage for advancing our greatness. Maybe we can solve some problems together once we admit the fallacy that we can (or should) build Utopia atop a house of cards inside a wind tunnel.

When stating that obama won't do anything about isis....you guys realise the actual situation?

It's started with the rebel uprising against assad, who the Russians support but uk and usa don't, so we gave weapons to the rebels, the rebels have then since split and this is where isis and isil et al have come in, the real rebels are now fighting assad and these terror groups. Russia are fighting against all rebels not just terrorists, which is what would happen if we started bombing everyone, but that would also mean helping assad who we don't like and want out, but can't fight against because Russia support him!

Not quite So simple as sort out the isis problem for trump or obama, not to mention the use of nuclear weapons. It's gonna take troops on the ground to sort out, which no one wants as it means more British and American deaths!

I've been doing some research so I don't sound like an idiot when running my mouth, (Lol) and here's what I believe may be better detail on that subject..
- Assad. He has been killing innocents over there "Saddam" style/mentality with no remorse for years, hence the beginnings of the rebels and Obama's stepping in to help. Gotta commend him for trying to save lives but apparently his means wasn't well thought out on that one.
- Putin. I "think" (speculation) that his dealings with Assad is based on business finances. Supply & demand. Putin supplies weapons and Assad buys them. Symbiotic hell.
If I'm incorrect or there are better information, plz point me in the right direction.
