Hey all,
I decided to go with the Friendcaster method of automatically uploading pictures for my contacts. Most of my contacts have high res pics, few don't. I opted to have all of them high res, but hey, not too big of a deal. However, I absolutely do not like having 300+ contacts in my phone, especially when some of them do not even have a phone number. So, I went into the "People" application to manually remove all of the people I don't talk to, or don't have a phone number. After deleting about 10 or so people, my Galaxy Nexus dies. This has happened three consecutive times, once with 2/3 battery and twice with 2/3 battery while connected to my charger.
Has anyone experienced this issue, or is this a defect? Also, if there is a quick way of displaying contacts that only have a phone number and email rather than manually removing all of them, that would be great.
Keep in mind, I want to avoid rooting my phone. I got it about a week ago and am fully satisfied with Ice Cream Sandwich as of now, so I don't see the reason to risk bricking my phone...yet.
