Lol like I said, it could be a stereotypical thing. Or it could be a regional thing. I'd like to know how these words became names for women. To me "broad" means a nicer way to say fat. And chick means...baby chicken? That doesn't make much sense lol.

Lmao! I'm watching The Voice on NBC, where judges pick people because of their singing voice instead of their look. Adam Levine (lead singer for Maroon 5 who is a judge on the show) just said "I thought you were a chick!" It just cracked me up because of this thread.

Brand spanking new on here but just got back from the gym so this made me laugh.
If nobody has asked me to do something, I know that I am doing it of my own free will. It's great to be recognized for that, but that's not why I do it.
In regards to the door being left to close in your face....
Either from being distracted, not feeling well, or just being a jerk that day, I think we have all been that person who came off as inconsiderate at some point in our life. At least that is what I try to remember.
I don't say this to defend ladies I've never meet, but as something that helps me keep perspective. ( I like to choose my battles in life)
I for one do appreciate the effort you put out there in the world today and I know there are many others that do too
