Considering we all have Android phones, a decent app should be a pretty high priority. If you all feel the same about the app, we could reconsider yahoo.

We also need to recruit a few more teams. I'd really like it if everyone made a decent effort to win their games. It's no fun to have a bye week against a player or doesn't even remove players on byes from their starting lineup.

To be fair, you can't do anything in the Yahoo app until your leage drafts either, if I remember correctly. We sort of decided on NFL.com as we'd be losing someone from last year if we went back to Yahoo.

I say lets get through the draft, see how the app is, and if it's so bad we can't take it, I can spin up a yahoo league and assign us the same rosters we draft through NFL.com.

I think the problem right now is most of us can't even sign in to our account on the nfl app. I'm still good with the nfl league as I hope they get the bugs in the app worked out before the season starts.
 
I have been in contact with the mobile development team for the NFL.com fantasy app. It seems that the problems might be device specific. They are aware of the issue and working on it now. They also have the link to this thread if they choose to come here for feedback.
 
I'm all signed up now. Draft time (that entire week) likely won't work for me but regardless I'll setup my pre draft rankings just in case.

Lets hope the app gets at least a little better before we need it. Staff league stayed on yahoo (thankfully) so I will me comparing the 2 all year.

id love to join in on the fun, but i havent a clue what you mean about the draft etc.... i shall do a little research and see if ill be able to join in :)

if its just pick some players and the app does the rest, i should be fine!

and i should be the one who is being slagged off etc for losing! lol

You should-if you enjoy the NFL it makes the games even more enjoyable to watch. So many factors too(weather, injuries, ect.)
You would think the big names would guarantee a win but not also the case. Look at Tom Brady going down with an injury early before.
Time to research my sleepers;)
 
Would you guys have a problem with a complete noob joining? I've wanted to do FF for a while, but never had a chance to do it.

Best sleeper I ever picked up was Mike Vick for the Eagles. When he came in due to an injury I picked him up, then he became the starter and he single handedly won some games for me! In fact that was in this league and the reason I made the playoffs 2 years ago :D
 
Well I'm happy to join if pointed in the right direction, if imnotmikal is a noob, then consider me still in the womb, living in Scotland, I do have espn, but Monday night football stats at 1 and 2 am over here! Lol.

Def would like to play though, if there is space :-)

If you are going to spend at least a few minutes each week to set up your roster for the coming week, no problem here.

All I really ask for is that people keep an eye on their roster, pick up replacements for injured players and have a lineup each week with all players who are actually playing that week.
 
From what I saw on the app, their is an"injured" list, does this mean the app will point out all players who ate injured, I defo want to join up now the more I look into it!

As lexluthor said, as long as people are willing to put in the effort to make sure they set a competitive roster each week, then we'd be glad to have you!

It's addictive once you join - you'll be scouring the news reports on ESPN for who's hot this week and who's hurt. ;)

FYI - imnotmikal and trentreznor also IMd me about joining, so with the returning players who wanted back in, this should bring us up to 12.
 
I'm glad to see an add on tv for google plus hangouts with nfl.com fantasy. I really hope I'm not working during the draft, I would love to do a hangout during the draft!

I just hope the app gets better. I rarely ever touch my computer. I use my phone and iPad for everything. The android app is unusable right now and there is no iPad app... Don't worry, if I have to I'll open a laptop weekly though. I'm winning it all this year!!
 
Thats me signed up, team 12 hopefully not going to be staying in that position for the full season....lol.... now to actually figure out what im going to have to do :S

got two weeks to manage, and the draft seems to be at a reasonable time for me too :)
 
Anyone (it'd really have to be everyone that agreed) interested in adding some low stakes to the league?

Even $5-$10 per person with winner takes all would add some incentive and a little reward at the end. I'm good with any amount the group agrees on.
