Root Phiremod 6.1

I installed Phiremod 6.2 using Colchiro's instructions when you are not rooted. It worked great but I have tried on 3 occassions to install Dalgrins OC mod using Kernal Lite. It always gets stuck in a bootloop that I can't correct withour reflashing Phiremod 6.2. I see where if I buy the full Lernal Manager I can flash from recovery. Do you think that would work? Anyone?

Same problem i have no idea ive tried sd card version of kernel to, no dice. I really want to oc! Or if somebody could put up phiremod6.1 for us that would be nice. Its not hosted ANYWHERE on the internet

Don't buy it expecting that it will work if it didn't before.

Bankswood... it sounds like instead of installing Phiremod, you installed the later version of CM7 (7.03 or later), which uses a different kernel, OR you downloaded the ext4 version of the kernel instead of the normal ext3 kernel that was used with older builds.

Here are the kernels that work with Phiremod: Index of /~dalingrin/nook/kernels

Use the emmc version from 042311 if you installed PM to your NC and the sd version if you installed it to your sd card.

If you installed CM 7.03 (what I'm playing with) or one of the nightly builds, you need the ext4 version from 042411.If something bad happens, boot into recovery and reflash your rom and try a different version.
If you want to try a different kernel, again reflash your current rom.
