Help Phone dead no response!

Howdy all

This morning I grabbed my phone, pushed power button to wake it and nothing happens. So I thought hmm the battery must of died, which would be odd as it had 70% left, or it just randomly shut down sometime during the evening.

So I hold power button down for a power up and nothing. I plug it in to my charger and nothing no light, no workie.

So pull the battery pop back in and it powers up normal. The battery % was at 40, so something not only ate 30% of my battery, but also made it shutdown in this non-responsive state until a batt pull.

So what say you any idea's I'm stumped

Most likely a software issue. If it keeps happening, remove any recently added apps.

That is what I am leaning towards...I've run this ROM (Incredibly re-engineered 2.20) for a week now with zero issues. The only thing I did different in the last week is change a tweak setting in spare parts to "zip-align upon boot" yesterday. I don't see how this could have caused a non-responsive shutdown during the evening while already booted and running for 24 hours, but who knows. I changed that setting back and will see how it plays out. Thanks for the response and if anyone else has experienced something like this please feel free to chime in

Unfamiliar with the Rom but if you use SetCPU and have any special circumstances set up for screen off or similar, especially if you go way low on the CPU, might want to raise it up a notch.

No setCPU stopped using that long time ago, but thanks for reply
