Root Phone shutting off

For the past day and a half now I've noticed that my phone will shut off by itself while on my pocket. When I try to turn it back on it wont respond until I pull my battery, put it back in and then try to power the phone up. Has anyone experienced this? I'm running cm7 with tiamat kernel.

moved you to the rooting section.
does your battery hold a charge? it could be the battery.

try wiping dalvik cache and cache and see if that helps. and if that does not work then try another rom.

With CM7 when you hit the power button and it does not automatically come up try swiping the screen. that usually does it or at least for me it does.
