Root Phone Stuck In Bootloop (S-OFF HBOOT 1.50)

That should already be done in the ROM you flashed. Most custom ROM's are already setup with superuser and busybox.

Might want to check the thread for that ROM to see if other users have had that problem, which usually requires flashing a superuser zip file to fix it.

That's worth a try.

Also, sometimes certain apps like TB have problems with root if you miss the authorization prompt the first time rebooting and/or uninstalling/re-installing the app will usually fix that.

Alright guys I have a bit of a problem ahead of me, heh. Apparently I need to revert to stock to update my profile again so my txt will work but I am worried about reflashing HBOOT 1.57 and going through this whole ordeal once again. What precautions should I take?

I think you can update those with Harmonia installed and that should work with your current hboot so you should be able to nandroid what you have now, install Harmonia, do your updates, and then restore your nandroid.

Awesome! Thanks once again! I'll give it a shot with Harmonia, I have it but did not know I could update with it.

Edit: This might be another issue entirely but for some reason I cannot send txts, I get the annoying SMS Error Cause code: 64 Error class: 2. I did the profile and PRL update in Harmonia and have radio 1.09.00.0706. Should I go back to 1.06.00.426? It also shows PRI 1.53_145

Edit 2: I got tired and just re-did the conversion to Evo 3D by flashing HBOOT 1.04, Radio 1.06.00.426 and the PRI from the guide.

Which version of the WFTN ROM did you flash, Sprint or Virgin Mobile?

Edit 2: I got tired and just re-did the conversion to Evo 3D by flashing HBOOT 1.04, Radio 1.06.00.426 and the PRI from the guide.

No, I've never used WFTN. I'm on Harmonia currently. Just can't txt. Reverting to the fix everything really didn't change anything except the radio, I'm still on that JBear Hboot and PRI remains the same.

Different radio, hboot and some people have claimed the PRI gets updated even though the version doesn't change. I don't know about that but you just negated the value of flashing the RUU so it means starting over from scratch at this point and I've spent enough time on this already.
