Accessories [PICS] Comparison shot: Zagg vs. Steinheil

Just threw this comparison together based on a post on xda... This may be useful for those of you looking at screen protectors and are still drinking the Zagg kool-aid.

The Steinheil is on my phone, the Zagg is an xda forum member's phone.

or you can just leave it off and not worry about it. you dont need a protector.

No joke. Never had a protector on mine and it doesn't have a single scratch. I am in the homebuilding business, the thing gets thrown around and gets put in my pocket with keys or change. Nothing, no scratches.

Holy crap, is that for real? I can't believe this screen would be that durable, just don't seem right. I still won't take the chance, at the moment at least, since my cheap screen protector from VZ doesn't bother me at all, but when it comes time to replace it I won't bother if that video is 100% true.

just for the record, i've had on my steinheill from the day i got my incredible july 12th. ive dropped the incredible twice so far and my steinheill still has no scratches. no peeling on the edges at all either.

So maybe it's because I'm watching that vid with no sound on.. but it looks like the objects he's using are barely if at all touching the screen... I'd prefer a vid from side of the phone rather than looking down on it..

i remember the Eris vid, supposedly we have the same screen, and the dude went from credit card (obviously not going to do damage) all the way up to a pocket knife. trying to scratch it and stab it. it was brutal but it came out spotless.

doesnt mean im not still buying the steinheil.

You dont need a warranty with steinheil, ive been using my first one since launch day, my second one is still in the drawer, that i will change after my first year heh. Why wrap your phone in rubber, looks and feels dumb as hell.

Well the new zag, they just put on this weekend has an anti fingerprint and glare built in now. I don't get streaks or finger prints on it. And the screen works better in sun light then before. The rep always takes care of,me so I don't think I'm going to switch.

I'm LOVING my Steinheil SP. And I have a question for you, what case is that second one you have on your Inc? Can you please post a link to it. Thanks.

It's the stock TPU case. I had the red-black case in the other photo, but it's so thick.

As far as being special, I don't know about it being too unique but it's my personal favorite out of all of the cases I've blown through in the last six months.

I'm currently using the screen protector that came with the Rugged Seidio case. It looks similar to the Steinheil SGP pictured above. Can someone clarify whether or not the Seinheil SGP shows finger prints as horribly as my Seidio protector? I have the Zagg protector for my iPod Touch and that's the one thing I like most about it is that it shows little to no finger prints.

I used to be really on the fence about screen protectors, but have recently gotten a Zagg, and must say that I notice almost no difference at all. The screen feels every so slightly more abrasive, but its a good trade off for almost no fingerprints and the added protection.

Sure it does. It shows you similar photos of applied Zagg and Steinheil screen protectors so people can decide which they like better as the two products have very different appearances.

A screen protector is Purchased to protect the screen. which one works better?

again. that Picture means nothing.!

Looks like you use the same High Gloss case. I just ordered Steinheil CC and I was wondering if putting my case on would peel the protector.

Can you give me some tips? Or is the protector cling good enough that the case doesn't affect it.
