I'm sure they will overnight your phone so you have it tomorrow. That's probably just a generic message that gets generated by Verizon.
I spoke to an internet sales supervisor yesterday and she said that all orders which process and ship today will ship via overnight to make their 4/29 promise. Just keep an eye on your tracking info and see what it says.

I'm now concerned I won't be getting mine on 4/29. For two days my status has been stuck on "Order is being processed. Check again tomorrow."
I ordered on 4/21 with delivery to Nashville. Billed to my account which is paid up.
I'll be calling Verizon shortly.
It's almost 9am now. Right now I don't have a tracking number, but getting it tomorrow is probably for the best. I have 2 finals that I are online, and I should probably take them before my phone gets here! Have you had any luck with your order?
WOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Just spoke with Customer Service in Atlanta and the lady told me that everyone will get their phone, and that my phone has been processed, but the fedex tracking number hasn't been released yet, but will be later. She informed me to call back after 1pm to get my number.
Now I can relax.

I'm getting very anxious now. I have been stuck on the same status since Sunday.

To further test the system, I just ordered a case for the DI with free next day delivery. Five minutes after I placed that order, I received the "Your order has been processed..." message for the case. However, there is still no change to the order of my Incredible that was placed on the 22nd.
My status finally changed to "Your order is being processed. Please check back tomorrow." I finally have a pending charge with my bank, and I received this email from Verizon: Dear Customer,
We appreciate your recent order, and we look forward to serving your wireless needs.
Your order has been received and approved. The total charge is $ ($108.24) . You will receive your new equipment within the next two to five business days.
Now I sure hope they don't really mean 2-5 days...

That's going back to what it was a few days ago!
Just got off the phone with Atlanta as well. Have NO CLUE why my order is being processed there, and it was the first time any CSR told me this and transferred me over, but I regress... I was told the same thing, they were on back order, it's being processed and shipped out tonight and will be on my door step tomorrow.
I told the CSR, I'm sorry to be so skeptical but I've been told this same thing for the past four days, and for the past four days nothing has changed. He told me today was the day. /sigh So I nicely thanked him and hung up.
We'll see what happened.
Edit: Just checked my order status as I hung up the phone. It went BACK to an older message I had 4 days ago, "We have received your order. Please check back tomorrow."Now it's going backwards. Oh sigh sigh sigh.

I guarantee your bank/credit card gets charged within the next 5 minutes. People have been going backwards like that only to have their order processed right after that! Check your stuff out!
