"Please check back tomorrow"

Before anyone goes too crazy here, let's think about this. It's true that maybe it is backordered as of this minute. But it's also quite possible that they are getting another shipment of phones tomorrow. I've heard from multiple people on this thread that they were told more phones were coming tomorrow.

If that's the case, then we should still have our phones by 4/29. God, I can only hope.

I hope you're right. On a second note, I received that email that said I'm in the queue or whatever...plust I have the order status that my "order is received, check back tomorrow" so I came on here to see what was up...

while there has been so many conflicting stories about why we got the email in the first place, I called this morning and the CSR lady told me that I would receive an email tomorrow stating that either everything is all good or that everything is not all good. I pressed her a couple of times but as far as she could tell, nothing was wrong. I then even called my bank to see if they rejected any charges (wells fargo) and they said that nothing has been flagged. In any event, the point I'm trying to make is, (after all that rambling) is whether or not we're all just being a little paranoid?? I know I have...Maybe they are backordered, but as long as there's a new shipment coming in/on before wed, we'll still be able to get our pre-orders on the 29th. What do you guys think??

The optimistic side of me wants to agree with you. I think we may all be overacting, myself included at times.

Mine is still in the "We have received your order. Please check back tomorrow." status on the website. However, I never received an email (yet) that said the phone is backordered or that I'm in any sort of queue. The only email I have is confirmation of me ordering the phone from 4/20.

And like I said, my bank (Wells Fargo) said there are no red flags and nothing was attempted to be processed from Verizon yet. And Verizon told me that they didn't see any red flags either.

So it's either I am going to get a shipped notification within the next two days or I'm going to get bad news. Either way Verizon said I will get an email. So I will just wait.
 
I don't like how she said there were "100" orders sent out due to glitch. There's already half of the Incredible forum that has shipping notifications, so it's not just 100, unless she was talking about the phone order issue. This issue is completely beside that.
 
So, I just got a call from a processor in Washington... Making sure everything was ok on my end (charge denied)... I told him it was. My order status is now "Your order is currently being processed, please check back tomorrow." Better than received your order :-)

Anyway, they said they are going to run all these on Wednesday and I'll get the phone on Thursday. I'll take what I can get at this point. Hopefully that solves everything. Thanks for the help.

I just called the 800-711-7773 and the CSR said that my order had finished processing but no tracking number was available yet. She said I should have an e-mail later tonight or tomorrow morning and to call back if no number is received. My status on the tracking page still says:

Order Date: 04/19/2010

Order Number: 327384XXX

Order Status: Your order is currently being processed. Please check back tomorrow.

She also said that the 2gb card will be included in the package.

Yep, at the same point. My staus changed to "We have received your order. Please check back tomorrow." on Saturday and remains at that point. I'll let you guys know when/if I receive a tracking number.

Well that's good news...cause that's where mine sits right now. "We have recieved your order...Please check back tomorrow." I'm so impatient...:D

i also went from we have received your order to currently being processed. my debit card was also charged.

I called this morning....got no real info just pressed them to get the order moving. Then the status changed on its own this afternoon.

oh okay...thanks....have you got your email yet with the tracking info???

No e-mail yet, but if my results are similar to everyone who processed yesterday I should expect it either tonight or by tomorrow morning at the latest. Maybe because our orders are a bit behind we will also get the 2GB memory cards with our orders.
 
... and sure enough AMEX flagged the payment yesterday thinking it was fraud, and no one from AMEX or VZW contacted me. I just called VZW and told them and now it should move quickly .CRS told me tonight or tomorrow morning i should get a detailed e-mail....

That's the first time I've heard that regarding AmEx. I use my AmEx for every silly thing... from groceries and gas to bulk purchases of computer systems. They told me they do not flag charges as fraud and there is no daily limit that can be charged... perhaps it varies on the type of card account?? (I didn't call...figure I'll call them Wednesday evening if nothing happens).

edit: my order has changed from "received order" to "being processed" in the last 3-hours.

i also had to call several times, no tracking number yet though.

Did your credit or debit card get charged as soon as you saw that your order was being processed? My status says that my order is currently being processed but I don't see anything that hit in my bank account yet.
 
I called 4 times. On the third I had them change it from my card to charging my account. Because they said they "cannot" reprocess before wednesday, I didn't want to take any chances. Just wish I could make sure they got it right. Just worried. Based off of the 4 different stories I got today, I don't have a ton of confidence. :-(

i'm not sure how soon after but as soon as i got a chance to check it had hit. i have a feeling it was around the same time though, since thats what they were waiting on to process my order.
