"Please check back tomorrow"

I called at noon to ask why my status had been stuck at "we've received your order", and after assuring me that nothing was wrong, my status updated to "currently being processed" within minutes of hanging up. So I'm hopeful that "processed" will come through later this afternoon and be shipped tomorrow.

Granted, I'd really love to have gotten my phone tomorrow, but I'm alright with Thursday... just as long as I get it ;)



Not to be a downer..but I had this exact same thing happen at 8am this morning and unfornately I am still sitting at "currently being processed" and no charge on my credit card yet either. It sucks to see other people who ordered 2-3 days after you did get their tracking info already :(

If you think that's a downer, I got the "currently being processed" status yesterday at around 3:00 p.m. pacific time and it still is in that status with no charge to my bank account.

But as I've stated in previous posts, Verizon assured me that my order will be processed either today or tomorrow and I will get my phone on Thursday. It's just a waiting game I guess. :confused:

I know, and I know I just need to be patient and wait until tomorrow to see if there are any changes. Its just hard to be that patient when you hear about so many people getting their phones today and wondering at what point I should check again to see if I will even get it on the 29th at all. It is especially disheartening to hear about people who just placed their order yesterday and already have tracking numbers while mine has been sitting in "queue" since the middle of last week :mad:
 
I got an email this morning that my account has changed. I went to verizons website and checked the pending documents and it showed it was shipped via fedex last night. I then checked the status of the order and it said it was processed and shipped and i should have it in 2-3 business days. I then checked my bank account and sure enough the money was taken out last night, so it looks like everything is a go for thursday. It would be nice to get it on wednesday but i'm not expecting it until thursday by 4:30pm.

Oh i also preordered mine on saturday morning April 24th. Not trying to brag or anything just figured some would like to know.

My status still says currently being processed check back tomorrow however i've been told by a representative this morning that my order has already shipped. But i have received no emails regarding shipping. Just out of curiosity how many times have other people called verizon regarding this phone? i'm up till like 6 now.
 
I've called a bunch and e-mailed Verizon too. I just got an e-mail back fromVerizon that referenced the fatc that I called in this morning and asked the same question. Not that it matters but they do keep track of your inquires.
 
Called one more time. Talked to a really nice gal and she said it just hasn't processed yet.. was in queue. I told her why I was nervous, as it was the same status I had when they canceled my order last time. She told me she'd send it in for processing right now. So we'll see. I guess all I have left is patience. I'll let you all know when my status changes. I'm crossing fingers and toes.

I've called 10 times already. The last call, the CSR told me that what happened was for some reason my order didn't go through in the automatic process (that's why it went to your order has been received, please check back tomorrow). But, it has already been assigned to a processor and it will be manually processed. That's why it's now showing "Your order is currently being processed, please check back tomorrow". The CSR said there is a long queue that's why I haven't seen any updates yet but she said it should be processed today or tomorrow.

Uh, why wouldn't they? They track what people are calling about, when they're calling, and why they're calling. This helps them eliminate redundancy, and increase efficiency, because 10 different CSRs don't have to respond to the same question from one person multiple times.

I ordered on the 19th and on the 24th I received an email saying

"Thank you for your continued loyalty to Verizon Wireless, the nation's most reliable wireless network. This e-mail confirms a change made to your wireless service for phone number xxx-xxx-xxxx on 04/22/2010"

It still shows as "being processed" though. Not sure what that email was about then.
 
So I just got a shipment e-mail. The tracking number is not coming up in FedEx's system yet but I think I am good now. Not sure if I got 2day or overnight shipping. However my status page still says "Order Status: Your order is currently being processed. Please check back tomorrow.".
 
I have that "We have received your order" as well 52008**** Chicago IL Ordered on APR 25

It sounds like orders coming from the Midwest distribution center won't process or ship until tomorrow. I'm in the same boat as you (We have received your order). Ordered 04/22

I just woke up (2pm!?!? yeah I'm a night owl) and first thing I did was what? Check my status of my DInc. and I was still stuck seeing "We have received your order." Now a few posts back, and I've seen it a couple other places was the Internet Sales # for VZW..

I called them, and was greeted by a quaint CSR.. we had a few chuckles back and forth, explained my situation and she happily "bumped" me in the processing queue and said to expect to have my order processed in 2-3hrs.. I was happy at that and I suppose with a little wit and humor it got her to put me back on hold for a moment while she "checked on something".. She came back and said "For 8.99 I'll have it out the door tonight and at your place tomorrow.. wanna do that?" Hell yeah I said, literally..

So my point is.. CALL 800-711-7773. Be polite, remember they are just doing their job and have no control over your particular issue. If you're nice, I guarantee they will be too. She put me ahead of the line in processing, then decided to scratch that and make sure I get my phone tomorrow.. go her!

I just got an email with a tracking #. Its been picked up by fedex, but its still in memphis, TN. Theres a small chance i could get it tomorrow but it looks like thursday is the day i'll be getting it.
 
Just talked to a CSR and she said that all the orders for people in the midwest will ship tomorrow with free overnight. I asked her if she could ship mine today and she said that there warehouse had a block on shipping all DI. Hope that helps.

Just called Internet Orders and spoke with a very nice lady. I explained that I know they are bombarded with alot of people who have been calling, and that I was one more that was.

I was told near the end of the conversation that my order should be processed by tonight and to call back tonight to get a tracking number. I appreciate her help and plan on calling back tonight at exactly 8 pm tonight.
 
slow is right, i have had the check back tomorrow status for going on 5 days now. this is absolutely ridiculous, at this point i would take getting it friday if i could just get my tracking number. i feel like they have forgotten about me even though i've call several times and been told by 2 different csr's that my order has already been processed and it WILL ship today if it hasn't already. so whats the deal verizon? i ordered before almost anyone and i'm gonna be the last one waiting on my gd phone... makes absolutely no sense.
 
Just got off the phone with the Internet Sales. I had originally ordered the phone through Telephone Sales on the 19th, but when I called up this morning to check on the status I was told the order had been canceled as Telephone Sales was never supposed to have taken the pre-orders in the first place. My rep told me he would re-enter the order once it became available.

However, the more I thought about it, the more I was concerned that I wouldn't get the phone on the release date. So I called the Internet Sales department and spoke with a girl named Cindy who was very helpful and just re-entered the order for me. She confirmed everything (and even made sure to put in the code for the free micro SD card), and said that because she had put in the new order Telephone Sales wouldn't be able to put in a duplicate order (thus saving me from getting two phones).

So, everything should be all set now. I really suggest those who have any concerns, especially those like me who originally ordered over the phone and haven't received any status updates, to call the Internet Sales department.
