This figures. Just got this dreaded email from Verizon:

What do I do now? Ordering on 4/20 and people getting shipping notifications that ordered yesterday, I am thoroughly disgusted to say the least. This is a complete joke.
 
Just called and spoke with Laura at Internet Sales. I was instructed by Cindy to call and see if I could receive a tracking number by tonight. She informed me that my order had been sent to the order center in Atlanta....and they closed.....an hour ago. I also asked if it was possible that I would not receive my phone on the 29th. She said it was possible, since there has be a tremendous desire for the phone.

So I was told to call at 8, only to find out that the center in Atlanta that is dealing with my order closes at 7pm.....Guess I'll be calling them bright and early.
 
cuban, definitely keep us posted. So I called the internet sales team and I wasn't as polite this time. I was never mean, I just was stern this time.

He said that I am coming out of the west center or hub or whatever he called it (which is true and I've been told that before).

He said the west center was out of stock and all the CSR's just got a memo that their stock was replenished as of 5:00 p.m. pacific time, which wasn't long before I talked to him. He said I should get my order shipped tomorrow for delivery on Thursday.

I don't know if I believe him, but my desperate side wants to. I also said are you sure stock was replenished or was it hearsay or something to make me happy. He said it was confirmed in a memo. Take it for what it is.

Also, the email I received was a response of an email that I sent to the internet team from a couple of days ago. So the info could have been old, I'm not sure. It wasn't a direct email from my order.

Can someone from the west coast be so kind to give the internet department (866) 338-7390 a call to see if that person also confirms the memo? LOL. I'm getting desperate here!
 
Aw man! So sorry WizeGuy. But it does say you will recieve it by thursday. Thats good right?

Thanks Domino! Yeah, if I receive it on Thursday, I am TOTALLY happy with that. Hell, I'll even take delivery on Friday at this point. I just don't want it to spill into next week.

And as far as receiving it on Thursday, the email is contradicting. It says the item is out of stock and it will be shipped once it's back in stock. That can be anywhere from a day to weeks right? But then it goes on to say that preorders placed before 4 p.m. local time on 4/28, will deliver 4/29. Isn't that contradicting? :confused:
 
I will Wizeguy. Hopefully everything works out for you. I have to go to the doctor tomorrow for blood work and getting a crown fitted (damn dentist in Kuwait caused me to get my first root canal!!). As luck would have it, I have about an hour between appointments, which gives me ample time to call and speak with someone in Atlanta.

I know I didn't place my order on the 19th, but I did place it on the 21st. I would be justifiably upset if I don't get my phone on Thursday, and people after me do/did.

I think I've jumped on the bandwagon to never pre-order again. This is absolutely mind blowing.

Yeah, it is pretty bad haha. But i think what they're trying to say is they know it will be back in stock soon (as in today or tomorrow). If that's the case then they DEFINITELY should have mentioned that in the e-mail. Haha, otherwise everyone like you and me who get that email who have been waiting and waiting are just gonna...:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:...something like that. haha.

Hahahaha!! To give an example of how I currently feel, just think Chevy Chase in National Lampoon's Vacation when he starts uncontrollably laughing in the car when he realizes he is on a quest to visit a damn moose!! :p

I honestly was just laughing out loud because I realized how ridiculous I am acting over a damn phone. LOL!

But ultimately, I think I will get my phone on Thursday. And if not Thursday, I think Friday should be realistic. Anyhow, thanks for listening to my nonsense! :D

I don't think it's contradicting. I read it as "It's currently out of stock so we can't fulfill your order as quickly as we said, but we're getting more, so you'll still get it on the 29th."

My status is still in process... I'm shipping out of the west coast... My understanding is they're not even going to process those orders until tomorrow morning with overnight shipping set for Thursday... So, I wouldn't lose any sleep over it... If we don't hear anything by tomorrow night, we'll both lose a little sleep, but from my conversation with the processing department, I think we'll get the phone on Thursday. Good luck.

hehe but i was acting pretty ridiculous over this phone too. I think most of us are. But believe me, after dealing with all this s&!t, when you get that shipping notice - it will feel like you just won the lottery. I'm still hopping around in joy! :p

just got home from work to see my order has been shipped! ill be getting it thursday via 2 day shipping. was hoping id get the overnight but no biggie. im just happy this mess is over!

So my status still has yet to change from "Your order is currently being processed, please check back tomorrow."

So I just called (again), and I said I had friends who already have shipping and tracking #'s who ordered DAYS after me (those friends would be you guys :p) and she said the same thing about the back orders, etc., etc., and that they all just got emails that a new shipment came in today.

She went on to say that my account had been assigned to "someone" and they probably just left for the day, and that she could not assign it to someone else. She said to call back at 9am to make sure they had processed my account so it could be shipped tomorrow.

I explained she would probably understand why I was a little worried, since my order has not been processed for the past 6 days, and CSRs were telling me different things all the time. She assured me nothing was wrong with my account, it would be processed tomorrow morning, and I would get the phone on Thursday.

The whole time she was stuttering a bit, as if she was unsure of what she was saying, and making it up as she went along. :( I don't know who to trust anymore. It's been one full week, and no status change and still no charge to my debit card.
 
I'm sorry :( I really hope you get your's soon... I was very luck I asked for next day air, I hope it get here in the morning tomorrow !
 
I'm still waiting with the "We have received your order" status. There's still hope, right?

There's definitely hope, but generally that error means that something went wrong with your order. Hopefully somebody tries to contact you so you can fix whatever it was... Could be anything from failed credit check to failed transaction from the credit card. Might try calling the internet team tomorrow and see if they have any ideas. Most are not helpful, but you never know.

good luck! im sure you'll get it by thursday, thats what they promised. if you dont, then raise some hell and get a discount or free case out of the deal for them not following through with what they advertise ;)
 
So apparently I have to pay a 400 dollar Deposit FFFFFFFFFFFFF
So i have to wait till i get paid Thursday, So that means i won't be able to get any cases or anything of the sort :( ((((((((((
Luckily i think they have my order on hold so it should ship right when i pay the fn deposit
