Please list Droid X froyo bugs, problems, glitches

I power down my DROID X every evening. Since upgrading from 2.1 I receive my last SMS received notification again. Also, when I complete a phone call, my screen is dark and when i 'awaken it' I get the lock screen. Sometimes I just get disconnected and get a lock screen. The verizon rep in Schaumburg explains that this is a mini computer and that you just need to do a battery pull. Any solutions? I did not have this issue with 2.1.
 
Autorotation is a beast of a problem since 2.2 in LPP, I calibrated the compass but every time i start the phone up with it on its back its auto rotated to the right. If there is a way to fix this or turn it off please let me know

Widget Locker still works a majority of the time but sometimes the new slider they implemented with 2.2 shows up instead, all my widgets and custom sliders gone.

Lagging, I had it lagging so bad last night that there was a 20 second delay between what I did and when it happened.

Sometimes when Im done with a call, the screen to end the call doesnt show up and it will give me a dialtone forever.

Pandora is jacked too.

So I called up customer service on my credit card today and its automated so i had to enter some numbers. Im sitting on my couch so I dont need to have the phone at an angle so its in my hand on its back, and I touch the number 1, nothing.. then the screen goes black, and then the dialer reappears, and it kept doing this, It works find when the phone is tilted towards me, but not on its back. This plus the auto rotation problems ive been having since 2.2 are really pissing me off
 
when I receive text msgs, there is no priority set to receiving the text, the conversation in my texts does not get prioritized and sent to the top of the list....2.2 took a shit on my phone, and added some features i would rather get rid of.

New problem I just had. Tried opening the camera and the screen would just blink. Nothing else would happen. Had to restart to get it to work.
 
DX w/LPP & Froyo.

1. occasional music player freezes (switch to cubed player anyways)
2. Live wallpapers slow LPP. Once I switch to a plain wallpaper, LPP runs smooth and fast on froyo. Live wallpapers & LPP ran great on 2.1 though.
3. some flash video streams have the audio/video out of sync. (both on wifi and 3g)

also when your battery gets low does anyone else's alert sound go like WOPWOP BEEP BEEP instead of just beeping. im not sure if thats a feature or not but it defintely didnt do that in 2.1
 
I had this same problem, and then my video wouldn't record, but after I rebooted it, it works fine. Odd, very odd.

I use the extended battery so mine doesn't usually get low. I'm hoping the camera issue won't repeat. Maybe it just got stuck. :-/
 
Absolutely zero improvement in the ringer volume on my X. I have read over and over how 2.2 is the miracle cure for the horrible low speaker ringer volume. That does not seem to be correct. Just updated OTA this morning and no difference in volume. So sad.
 
I use launcher pro. After doing a factory reset with the froyo OTA, my wallpaper stutters badly when switching homescreens. The screen flashes white for a fraction of a second when switching. It's almost as if it has drouble redrawing the wallpaper as you move between homescreens. It's really annoying and doesn't look pretty. I've tried removing widgets and icons, and making sure animations were set to "all". No dice.

I tried a factory reset again, and the same thing happened even with the stock pre-loaded wallpaper. It happens when I select my own wallpaper as well. I installed launcher pro plus again and that fixes the problem, but I was hoping to get the phone working with stock blur as well. =/

Really?? :confused: Mine got MUCH louder since the update. I set my volume to just over 50% and the damn thing screams! Right after the update, I didn't touch the settings and it scared the hell out of me when it rang, it was so loud. :cool:
 
I've done 2 resets now (the last after I spoke with a VZW rep.) The problems I'm seeing, even after the resets are (note these are fairly consistently complained of in this thread):

1) music player will stop working, or at times won't play a song, as it says the music is not in a format that the player can use
2) video camera sometimes won't shoot video.
3) pandora sometimes won't play

ALL of these are sporadic, but it seems that if one happens, all three will happen. Generally a reboot will fix it, but there is no consistency in how long it will work before one of these errors happens again. I'm guessing that it is probably the same issue that is causing all of these to happen.

Note that sometimes it will get stuck at the Moto logo. I generally have to remove the battery for 10 minutes or so to get it to get past the logo. I'm curious if the people having the problems above have the bootloader problem as well. (?)
 
I cant install some apps, it will say installation unsuccessful, and it is really stressing me out because I already bought a bunch of them on my old D1 and now are useless. I have a literally factory fresh phone running OTA froyo. Any advice would be appreciated
 
When I'm on a call... the phone has a weird loud BEEPING noise in the back ground. It BEEPS every 10 seconds or so. And it's not a notification beep... :mad:

For me wiping my phone's cache helped with #1
