Looking to see the opinions of the forum dwellers on which rom is best as far as good to go right after install, I am not interested in tweaking or reporting glitches, I simply want roms that work and right now on Apex I am a little leery of changing because it seems like a lot of roms have major issues, so what do all of you think??

i think liberty is quite buggy, but when 1.5 comes out it will be different

and you must know not all devices are the same, so i may have these bugs on liberty and no one else does
some may have bugs on apex where as i do not. its all end user, your going to get mixed feelings on this because each device handles the rom in different ways

Tried several, including Liberty 1.0, would have to say Fission 2.4.3 has been the most stable for me from install. Didn't keep 2.5.7 long enough to give it a good eval, 2.4.3 does it for me imho.

liberty should def be in the poll...i haven't noticed mine being all that buggy, and like voidedsaint said, v1.5 is just around the corner

I agree, Liberty has been running pretty smoothly for me. I'm hoping v1.5 is released today :D

So far I have had the most luck running Tranquility ROMs. Started with 3.6.0 and progressed up to 3.7.0 public release with the newest toolbox.

bouchigo, i just saw that kejar said end of this week, beginning of next week b/c the themers just got the update and they are waiting for it back

Thanks, I just saw his twitter post......and the wait begins (not patiently either....) I just wish he would release it, I'm not going to use their themes anyway :p

This noob has only tried ApeX 1.3.1 so far... I have had no bugs or issues until I tried to put the REVOlution theme on there. I really like the theme but my Gmail won't work anymore.

imo, newbies should start with apex. no muss no fuss.
apex is always a great rom to start with

and sorry i cant multi quote, dont know how lol
bbuck002-right now i am not having any issues with liberty, freshly downloaded install, but i can honestly say the first 3 times i tried, horribly buggy, but then again maybe i got a bad download or something, not sure, but this new install, i have been running and running great on my 4GLTE with Generation X Battery icon ^_^

so like everyone said +1 for liberty, if you know what your doing, but best way to start is apex, until you get the hang of things that you are doing

sorry I didnt include liberty and some of the other popular ones, but I guess you can include them in "others" may try darkslide and have tried gummyjar but apex just seems to work as of now

For me Fission and Gummy Jar were most stable. Liberty is damn good though, it's just the other 2 I had zero issues even OC'd.

Try Nexolution. It's made specifically for 1.3.1. I went from REVO to Nexo and recommend it highly.

If your gmail doesn't work, just go into settings>applications>all select gmail and clear (or wipe) data. I forget which. Then it'll work fine. :)

Tried most of them. For me, Apex gives me the stability and functionality I need. The rest are good, even a bit faster, but there are some things on this phone that need 'Blurred.'

Liberty seems to be the most stable for me. Tool box is easy for installing blur. And I get almost 0 reboots. I was on Apex 1.3.1 and it was great too but I did get about 1 or 2 reboots daily. On Liberty I've had problems only after I try theme-ing it. I'll probably try theme again after Lib 1.5 is out. Or the next Apex might get me to jump ship again.

I've had no bugs with liberty and very few with ApeX. Everything else I've tried has been too buggy, although I haven't tried the newest versions of darkslide or fission

The poll seems influenced by popularity. But for those who may be curious I installed GummyJar 2 weeks ago and haven't had a freeze or lockup since. Running stock blur my phone used to reboot atleast once or twice a day and my battery life has improved.

I'm running Incredibly Re-Engineered and i have had no issues at all. Its fast if not faster then any other X rom i've tried, I've had zero force closes. The issues I had with Liberty are gone and I don't have any random reboots!

ApeX is a great ROM.

Its bugs are not its fault - I just get occasional random reboots with it, that I also got running the stock setup. I get silent calls occasionally, that I also got with the stock setup. Now, I got fewer reboots on ApeX than stock, and it was certainly a lot faster than stock, so I still recommend it.

GummyJAR has proven to be the ROM that eliminates most of the bugs the stock setup gives me. I think I've had one reboot in the entire time I've used it, and haven't thus far experienced any of the silent calls.
