JB, if you find a good sense ROM that has smaller footprint than Fresh let me know. I overclocked Fresh based on your recommended kernel and it worked great! I just wanted to get more memory. I was hoping that Flipz would finalize his Kitchen and I was going to cook up a skinnier version of Fresh. It's been in Beta for many months now and very close, but there's been no sign of him since his "leave of absence".
Thinking about trying the Liquid Sense.
LS is good as I use it to do my updates, but have yet to find anything to match AOSP, lean and mean, I will give up all the other stuff for that, no lag, fast and responsive, tough to beat for me and if you look at me phone looks like I have sense with the Fancy Widget clock.

Liquid is still one of the quicker 2.1 sense roms when overclocked with infinite's kernels
imo Bone stock sense, without bloatware

Don, while I appreciate your suggestions, we are gonna have to agree to disagree on this one....I liked the speed of aosp, but that little icon in the corner of the notification bar that said low memory kinda bothered me.... Back to good ole CM6
I do not have that, what is you internal memory at, how many apps do you have, I have 60 and still have 60 Mb's and that is with all my apps on my phone and not the SD card. There is something sucking your internal memory I would be curious to find out what is doing that

I do not have that, what is you internal memory at, how many apps do you have, I have 60 and still have 60 Mb's and that is with all my apps on my phone and not the SD card. There is something sucking your internal memory I would be curious to find out what is doing that
I actually have 74 TOTAL apps on my phone, but 33 are preinstalled, not my downloaded apps. I have 41 installed apps. I even went through and deleted every single app that I haven't used in a few days to lean it out. I don't want to do the firerat mod, I just get a weird feeling that I would screw it up. I guess the hero is showing it's age, the apps keep getting bigger, and with a phone that has marginal internal storage to begin with, I'm thinking it is time to move on up.... Don't get me wrong I love this phone, but Android has outgrown the hero....

Apps to SD to Help your Storage Problem?
I also have lots of apps and Plenty of Space...around 70mb.

No problem at all with a few apps on the sd, and cm6. Aosp i had every app possible on the sd and only had like 29-30 mb free. I don't like running that close to the limit.
