Did not work, still gives me a missed call.
I moved it to system/app and rebooted. Was I supposed to clear cache and dalvik?
 
Not finding much will have to download the rom from lg l90 or g2 mini to see the directory tree for system/app and priv-app to be sure an app wasnt overlooked. Its possible the phone apk has it built in but most 4.4 roms use a separate incallui app

Do you think it could be the Sim card problem that's causing this or am I way off?
 
Not really. If it were I would think any calling would be an issue. This revolves around the ui not appearing for incoming calls with ring function.
 
*facepalm* no settings for this anyway

Here is a temp solution

It will announce the caller by via media volume instead of by ringtone. Just set the repeat interval under caller to 2 or 3 seconds and initial delay to 0.
 
Well weather is in Celsius only. I'm having issues saving screens to SD internally or externally. Think its all related to funky dim issue. Got the keys fix in,no navigation bar....calling still fudged. We need a CDMA built mini port. This GSM only variant has to many major issues with storage and calling. But it's all we got. Will keep searching for a compatible device that's CDMA.
 
Ringtone under quick settings... How did you get weather to work?

No luck yet on calling BUT...do have this rim booting without any apn flashing. Edited eri in framework res with settings from eri of vm apn fixer and also by adding in the build.prop edits. The flasher makes. No movement on sim issue either. The entire phone and messaging notification system is responsible for the calling issues. It's integrated among all of the apps that relate to calls. Messaging app seems unaffected mainly because it doesn't take a call. My edits to framework res were an attempt to embed carrier info but these apps will probably need decompiling and if possible changes made to small which I am no genius on...to fix.

Would any of the other developers know about this decompiling and would be willing to help, idk maybe Tom or badmofo can give you tips somehow?
 
Tom told me he had no clue himself on how to fix the calling issue. I have decompiled framework-res,settings,apk,phone.apk,contacts and a few others in an attempt to fix the issue. every edit i knew to make in these apks that could have impacted calling i made. bad mofo might have an idea but am unsure. i do know that miui version 7 and maybe even 6 require that the boot img be modded in order to port the rom. so for those wanting to take on those versions,be ready to mod the boot img.
