Root PORT : Saber Pac Rom 4.4.4 LG L90

Yeah. When they throttle. When I am still within my data allotment this doesn't occur. When I hit the limit it starts.

MANUAL CHANGE:
1. GO TO /SYSTEM/ETC AND LOCATION MIXER_PATHS.XML
2. OPEN FILE USING A TEXT EDITOR OR DOWNLOAD AN XML EDITOR FROM THE PLAY STORE.
3. SCROLL DOWN CLOSE TO THE BOTTOM AND LOOK FOR <PATH NAME="SPEAKER">
4. BELOW IT YOU WILL SEE THIS LINE:
<ctl name="RX3 Digital Volume" value="84" />
5. CHANGE VALUE FROM "84" TO WHATEVER YOU WANT, I RECOMMEND 90 - 95.
6. SCROLL TO THE VERY TOP OF THE SCRIPT AND FIND:
<ctl name="RX1 Digital Volume" value="84" />
<ctl name="RX2 Digital Volume" value="84" />
<ctl name="RX3 Digital Volume" value="84" />
<ctl name="RX4 Digital Volume" value="84" />
7. CHANGE ALL OF THESE VALUES TO THE SAME VALUE YOU SET AT BELOW.
8. SAVE CHANGES AND REBOOT.
9. ENJOY!

Thanks for this, under speaker it was set to 63. Changed everything to 90, a bit louder now.

It isn't something that happens often enough to warrant digging the rom a part. Im using it now fully throttled and not having the issue. If I do get it. I dont use quick toggles to get the signal back. I do it directly from settings. Works for me. Besides its a port. It's a rarity for a port to be this bug free. Dont want to break anything to fix a minor annoyance.

Okay, I do make a good point. It's just that this always happens. But I guess I will go straight to settings to toggle data.. One last question, when I toggle airplane mode, do I get this issue

Will there be a.fix.in the near future?
As Curtis explained, the issue is with Virgin Mobile.
By trying to correct a minor irritant (when data cap is reached, the use of data becomes useless), he could end up having many major issues with rom.

There is no way of knowing. Curtis said he only had the issue with data just a few times, whereas your saying you have it happen all the time. The only thing that can be said is "try it" and see if it works. No harm done if it doesn't work.

One of the golden rules on porting roms:
It's a rarity for a port to be this bug free.

Giving Saber PAC ROM another go & it's cool so far! I'm very thankful for the hard work & effort Curtis & the rest of the devs have been pouring into our Volts, Thank You All!!!

Yeah it's a great KitKat ROM by far the best one I have tried. Using it on RingPlus and LTE works perfect.

First off, Sorry about bringing up the green tint thing . Just want to compare experience, outdoor in the sun camera adjusts to give a good photo as it should. When indoors the green shows up in various degrees, from very faint to full on night vision depending on how bright the lighting is. Is this the normal green action for everyone, I have been using Curtis stock mod for months so this is new to me

It's a hardware issue, they switched components out through the manufacturing run of the phones. Some have the green tint, others don't.

just wanted to know if the green is always there for everyone that has it, or just in darker areas like me. In general when I'm outside the green gets metered out and I get a good looking picture. Indoors under artificial light the green shows up in different intensities according to the brightness. Is that how its working for all us greenies or do some have it all the time anywhere.

Curtis1973 if I don't install gapps on this or any rom will I save alot of battery power? I would rather get rid of all the google crap sucking battery power and do my own sideloading of updated apps anyway. I do use hangouts though so if I dont install gapps but manually install hangouts will I need to install more goggle crap to make hangouts run? I know I could use Waze for maps instead of google maps. I guess the issue is really battery savings as I usually install the opengapps nano version. Just looking for opinions on this battery issue and whether its worth it vs issues that would crop up not having google services and play store running all the time.

Well, if you can use apps that don't require Google play services... Then yes.. On top of that there is an apk under xposed that makes apps work without Google Play Services. My suggestion is to use aptoide and be cautious. But that's just my opinion lol
