Post a pic of your first cell phone.

This is like parking next to a car who's on the line, forcing you to be on the next line. When you come back to your car, the other one is gone, making you look like the moron who doesn't know how to park.

hah! I always worry about that when someone parks poorly.

haha... beeper (pager) to pay phone was how i was rolling too... funny.
then i jacked my pops for the MOTO flip my freshman year 95'...

I had one of these too... when Nokia was hands down king. From there I had some unknown moto flip phone, and from there a razer. I think from the razer I went to the iPhone and used them exclusively until I got on EVO

Woot! Big ups 3390 crew!!1

We were the cool kids in middle/high school, lolz!

Here's my whole cell phone history and a little story behind it.

nokia3350.jpg

I got this when I was in Grade 6. I played Snake and Space impact on it for hours

nokia-6600-i1.jpg

This is my next phone. This is the phone where Philippines first had unlimited texting. I wasn't a fast texter then, but I texted for hours. Which I found weird since I am the faster button masher in my neighborhood. Sadly this phone was snatched from me one rainy night, when going home from school. My bag got slashed :(

1100-42.jpg

When my phone got stolen, this is my temporary replacement for it. Played Snake and Space Impact for hours

100_1704.JPG

Ah yes, my first MP3 player phone. My parents bought me this second handed. I bought it home, but didn't notice the tons of porno pics and vids on it. I was like :eek::eek::eek::eek:. I deleted it then enjoyed listening to the radio and music on it for hours. The occasional Realistic Tennis here and there. I still have this phone, it's my backup phone.

nokia-n70.gif

I wanted to get a new phone, (you know, teenage envy :P ) but I know my parents won't get me a new one because I still have one. So, I saved and saved and saved till I got this! I'ts my first phone when I became a freshman in college, and I listened to music for hours

samsung_corby_pro_b5310-417x500.jpg

When I was driving with my Dad, my phone slid from my short pocket and landed somewhere. We backtrack it but we couldn't find it. Either someone nicked it or it fell into a canal. Being sad, my dad decided to buy me a new phone (and a couple of deep-pocketed shorts). I love this because this is my first touchscreen/QUERTY I played java games and apps on it for hours Now, for the second time, this phone was stolen (Yes, this is common here) while I was in the jeepney (Public transportation in the Philippines), someone looted my bag while it's too crowded to move. Luckily I blocked both the sim card and the phone.

This was my temporary replacement before I save up for a new one. This is beyong sucky. I got angry at this POS phone for hours.

htc_desire_hd_review_2.jpg

And now we have the this beauty.
My first Android
My first HTC
I don't notice anything except my phone for hours

That's my phone history for ya.
As you notice I have a lot of Nokia phones. This is because Nokia dominates the phone market here in the Philippines.

KYOENE.gif

POS Kyocera phone from Cricket Wireless....this thing sucked balls

Then I went to this POS
kyocera-candid-g.jpg

After that, I went to this

boost-mobile-i855.jpg

Boost Mobile

Well got tired of the "chirp" and paying boost so went back to cricket

Got a Razr

V3c.jpg

Went through like 6 of those, had that until I learned how to flash phones then I had this one Cricket

Treo-700p-Apps-S.jpg

I had working 3G, WiFi everything....and then Cricket pissed me off went to Sprint

had this

lglx290sprint.jpg

Then it got water damaged, bought this second hand

sprint-samsung-rant-best-cell-phone-2.jpg

Then I found this on ebay for like 10 bucks....replaced it a cpl of times

samsung_ace2.jpg

then I said screw it, I wanted an Android and I got this

LG-Optimus-S-Specification-Price.jpg

My next phone will be something a bit bigger....I have big hands, but so far I love my Optimus S.

Sony_Ericsson_Z500a.jpg

SE z500a.....cool idea but not a very good phone in any respect (went through 4)

2783-main-medium-sony-ericsson-z520a.jpg

z520a after number 4, Cingular sent me this guy. Major upgrade imo

v323_us_cell_45145__42450_std.jpg

MotoV325 Ended my Cingular service and went to metroPCS. Great device for basic stuff

LG-VX8500-White-Chocolate-Verizon-CDMA_2187_B.jpg

VX8500...got this after my v325 got stolen. best non-smartphone keyboard ever (to me). But the touch device was very buggy. Went through 4 of them.

sch-a670.jpg

Samsung a670. Verizon refused to replace my Chocolate again so someone gave me this when the phone went into boot-loop.

3702-main-medium-lg-vx-8300.jpg

vx8300. Another friend gave me this when the a670 separated.

Mod Edit: Link Removed
the V. bought on a whim from ebay. cool little phone. great speakers.

Treo-700p-Apps-S.jpg

Treo 700p. My very first smartphone. Loved every moment of it. I cant recall it ever doing anything i disliked. It was just really boring.

Well grammy had an extra phone number that wasnt being used so she gave me the SIM. Some dude was selling this guy for $120 back in Jan 09. I JUMPED on it!!

motorola_backflip_for_italy_250x250.jpg

Just wanted something new since my iPhone was so darn old. This guy lasted like 2 days before it got flipped right back to ATT. good phone TERRIBLE device.

captivate.jpg

After my bad experience with the backflip, I wanted to try a REAL android. But it was the opposite (good device bad phone). Also i didnt like TouchWiz and decided "i might as well still have an iPhone."

apple-iphone-3gs.jpg

Turned in the Captivate and headed to the Apple Store.

smartphone-blackberry-bold-9000.jpg

Got VERY tired of autocorrect and all of its oppression. I loved the keyboard on this phone. And thats IT. But i convinced myself to stay with BB since most of what i do is txt/email/twitter.

blackberry-curve-3g-9300-simfree-mobile-phone_www.amazon.co.uk_5a081c6f6bd493d7f3d7d77073d9cb0d.jpg

I hate everything about this phone. It is just about as slow as my Backflop with a worse camera and the backflop had just as good of a keyboard.

NEC 9A, size of a typical house brick, weighed as much, and cost a lot of money back in 1990, carrier was Racal-Vodafone.

Before owning the 9A, I used a company Nokia Mobira Talkman for a while, carrier was Cellnet.

nokia_mobira_talkman_251.jpg

My first truly pocked sized phone, and my favourite of the era.. Oki 900.

oki900-04.jpg

My wife bought me a brand new Motorola bag phone for Valentines day back in 1995. I think the plan included 30 minutes of talk time for $29 a month:rolleyes:

I don't have any pictures, but, here's what I've had over the last 13 years:

- Some old Audiovox bar phone
- A Nokia 6130-ish phone
- Another Audiovox (CDM9150-ish)
- Motorola i850
- Samsung Magnet
- Pantech Matrix
- Motorla Flipside

There's a couple others in the history, but I couldn't remember them...and most of them I couldn't find pictures for.

First phone, the Samsung Alias:
samsung_alias.jpg

Got it in the 6th grade. Great, reliable, durable phone. It even was underwater for 2 minutes when I dropped it in the lake (shallow water) with a muddy bottom and survived. Didn't even have to replace the battery. (I was kinda saddened by the fact it survived because then I couldn't get a new phone... lol)
Still works after 4 years, serving as my backup in case anything happens to this phone, Samsung Fascinate:
Samsung-Fascinate.jpg

I'm a Samsung guy. I've never had a problem with their cellphones. Had the Fascinate for 9-10 months now.
