Very 1st phone
First phone, the Samsung Alias:
Got it in the 6th grade. Great, reliable, durable phone. It even was underwater for 2 minutes when I dropped it in the lake (shallow water) with a muddy bottom and survived. Didn't even have to replace the battery. (I was kinda saddened by the fact it survived because then I couldn't get a new phone... lol)
Still works after 4 years, serving as my backup in case anything happens to this phone, Samsung Fascinate:
I'm a Samsung guy. I've never had a problem with their cellphones. Had the Fascinate for 9-10 months now.
My first cell phone was the Sidekick ID, loved the Sidekick line of phones.
The Sidekick 3 was an excellent phone! I was just about to buy a used one when I went into Tmobile and found the htc Dream/G1 on release day.. couldn't pass up Linux on a phone.Ardchoille, I was a sidekicker too, after my sony ericsson I had the
Sidekick-3 (wish I could find an mp3 of the orig sidekick3 jingle)
Sidekick LX
Att Tilt 8925
HTC Tilt2
<of all of the above, only the tilts are "resting in pieces" in Cell Phone Simetery>

Here's mine the Orange MR1 made by Motorola.
Yep, it was on there. I remember buying it when I did a year-long study abroad in Brighton, England in 2000. It was really exciting to have my own phone, even though the Nokia 3310 was the hot phone of the year.
This was my first cell phone. If i remember correctly the battery would last about 1-2 hours.
