I know a guy who uses one as a daily driver.. it's fine and he loves every minute of it. Buying a car to use it as a garage queen.. that's not getting out and enjoying it. If you can't afford the maintenance periods, or you just destroy the car because you don't know how to drive, that's your own fault. Telling other people it isn't a daily driver by your standards doesn't apply to them. Any car can be used as a daily driver if someone wants to do so.

Just joined the forum, saw this thread about cars so I figured why not make it my very first post. This is my 06 Grand Prix GXP, only had it about a month. I think I love your truck more. I never really cared much for pickups until I got down to the South. The culture rubbed off on me and now one day I want a truck in my garage.

Rain, snow, hail...you would drive your GT-R in it? Every single time? Doesn't matter how much money you have, it would be stupid to ruin the car like that.

But like we established early, the term is subjective.

That would be a daily driver. It is not subjective at all, and it isn't ruining anything. Cars are meant to be driven.

Then again, I drive my Evo X every single day when it snows.. AWD is great. Some people think I'm crazy.

You're comparing a $35K car to an $83K car.

No one goes for a drive during a hail storm. But you can get stuck in one. Depending on where you live, rain can ruin your paint if it's acidic enough. Everyone treats their car like a $400K Lamborghini, even if it isn't one. They take care of it.

Maybe you don't care about your car, but I would think that someone with a car as exclusive as a GT-R would try and keep it in pristine condition.

I never compared my car to a GTR.. LOL. All I said was some people say the same thing about me.

But, yes, I don't care about my car.. I take it off jumps and stuff. I also park in chemical factory parking lots where the acid rain is super strong.

We just got it together, and I've only made a couple shakedown runs. 4.92 @ 150 in the 1/8. Nowhere near its potential. That particular blower is capable of I think 45lbs. We're not even in the 30s with it yet.

ok guys i need some opinions. i am redoing my "demon eye mod" because one of the bulbs blew out so i might as well switch up. the demon eye mod is basically what you see in blue:

its not my driving lights, its my park lights, so it disapears once i turn my low/highbeams on. currently im debating to switch it to another color. they have blue, red, green, yellow, white, and purple available. what color do you guys think i should go with? im thinking red for now.

also a buddy of mine has a gialla grill for sale, so im thinking about picking it up. tell me what you guys think:

basically in the projector, i have a LED that lights it up when my high beams/low beams are off. so when i turn it on, it will become my regular driving lights.
