I just got my Droid less than a week ago after being upgraded from an Eris by Big Red so this is all i have so far but thought i'd share...

ITs called fancy widget. I dont think its in the market anymore because of an HTC request. you can try weather and toggle widget or beautful widgets, although theyre both paid apps/

wallpaper is picture from stuckincustoms.com then i did 3.5 gaussian blur in ps, thought it was less cluttered

I'm new here, and this is my first droid... so please forgive me if this question is a tad silly :3

I'm wondering if it's possible to change the dock icons without having to root and go into all that. I'm not quite ready to customize it that much yet.

The new update features these little dots on the far left and right sides of the dock that show how many screens you have available on each side. I don't need that, I'd like to put some more used icons there instead. Is there an app or something to change that or is that something I have to customize through rooting?
