I tried to figure that out all I can see is in the op the app linked is no longer on market.
OIC. Yeah, ShootMe. I have the .apk if anyone wants it. Works on non-rooted phones.

Let me check Google Play. There is another screen shot app for rooted user's that worked just fine on my V way back when I was non-rooted. I'll have to look thru all the apps to jog my memory/say opp's up side your head, say oop's up side your head.

Here are a couple new screenshots where I added a couple apps. One for the status bar and the other is a battery bar. The little blue line right below the status bar. I also changed themes to the Glass Go Launcher EX theme with custom background which I got off this thread.

Hey, I recognize that wallpaper! 
Yeah, that was ShootMe. Then there was an update which made it not work on non-rooted phones, a lot of fuss from people who could use it 'til that point, dev pulled it from the market, more drama...but I didn't take the update so mine still works.

If it isn't a paid app, you could use ES File Explorer to backup the apk, then you could share it. Just a thought.

That's the one! Thanks for finding it brotherswing. It will work on the V. This is what I used when I was still un-rooted. It works about 98% of the time, with only a glitch every now and then.

That's the app I used to get screenshots from my wife's Wildlife S after I cooked a theme for it. I'm so spoiled by my Rom, I had forgotten that screen captures aren't built in to Android!

The Theme Chooser.apk is only designed to work with themes designed to work with it. The custom themes that are phone, ROM, and ROM build specific usually will not work with it, yet. You will still have to install the custom theme's through the recovery.
