Quick update to show the new icons and dock that I made to go along with my new system font. They are similar to the MmnlText Icons that were made by UltraLinx, just in the Neutraface font. I also made a smaller dock as I felt the one I was using was not only too dark, but had too much wasted space.

Are you talking about the blue icon between the cell signal indicator and the time? That's just the regular 2.2 (Froyo) battery indicator (I'm assuming he's on 2.2 and that it's not a 2.1 mod) :)

What agenda/calendar listing is that (the one that shows October 13th at the top).?

I had 2.2 on my Captivate and didn't see the number overlayed on the battery icon.

rrrramos, also where did you get the icons from?

its in most of the newer cognition builds, 2.1 or 2.2. Stock 2.1 and 2.2 do not have a battery % inside the battery

Thanks for the clarification, I didn't even realize that was a Cog specific tweak.

I actually tried to flash last night and it was a no go. My phone wasn't able to boot. I just flashed Cognition 2.1.6 which has the icon built in though.
 
Ok...This whole thing started because I wanted the % sign in my battery meter. Well I have yet to do/find that but in the process of seeing some really cool Home Screens...I made my own.

I borrowed a few noticeable ideas from others and mixed them up with some of my own. I used Desktop Visualizer...Smart Shortcuts.

A BIG shout out to paulmz for the inspiration!

Layout looks good. I like the background peeking out from behind the icons.

Where did you get the flux capacitor image?
 
i dont get why everyone has a HUGE clock. lol the time is displayed at the top right. i can see having the weather but why the clock. waste of space.

Personally, I hide my notification bar. The battery display is useless unless modded (or using another app like Battery Info), and I get tired of looking at the gaudy Lookout icon. So, having a small clock and battery info makes perfect sense for me.

Really, it's a case of personal preference. I hate the look of the Windows 7 designs - but y'know what? The people who put that look on their phones obviously like it - so who am I to judge them?
 
I'm loving the signal23 LP mod. I didn't even know about it till I believe you posted up in the thread, scored it, and wow, it makes the LP Widgets so much better (in fact, they were so aesthetically craptacular, I wasn't even using them, even though I paid for the Pro version).
