Been mucking around a bit with a mostly stock setup (rooted but bootloader still locked).

I still wish I could find a clock that a) looks good, b) has a drop shadow, c) will launch an app, and d) shows the weekday/date/month. I can only seem to find 3 of 4. :(

I also wish there was a simple way to change the stock battery icon in the notification bar. I don't really like the left side battery icon/widget because it's always sitting in the tray (although being able to pull down the bar for a quick temp check is nice when i'm outdoors).

Ah well. This makes me happy for now.

Have you tried making your own with Minimalist Text Widget? Or does it not support drop shadows?

Not yet! Sadly it wasn't one of the 3402348723189471 results for "clock widget" :D But it looks really powerful (and yes, it does have drop shadows!)

I'll give it a shot and see if my apparently giant fingers can navigate its teeny-tiny interface. :p

Here is a snapshot of minimalistic text for reference, which supports drop shadows (color is adjustable), launches an activity (mine is set to launch the desk clock), and the date is configurable to your needs.

Which beautiful widgets skin is that? Suku ICS Blue? How long did it take you to match the Blue text color using the sliders? I hate devs who use sliders instead of RGB values or Hex codes.

Its ICS Pure, didn't take long at all matching the blue.
