Post your Homescreens

In Jellybean, app encryption was introduced, which is currently preventing icon packs from being applied. Icon pack developers are currently working together with launcher developers to try and find a work around, but as of right now, they will not work. The current temporary work around is to download a pack, make a Titanium Backup of it, uninstall the app, then restore the backup. Then you are able to use the pack. Hope this helps.

Right because I wouldn't see the need to encrypt free apps

In your first post you made a blanket statement where you said no icon packs will work with JB (ie: you did not make it clear that this bug doesn't affect free packs). You also said the only recourse would be for people to root (you need root to use TB) to fix the problem, which is also not the case for unrooted users using free icon packs. ;)

Have to be extremely clear when making statements like that so that there's no confusion. :)

If the user reading it wasn't having a problem, then it wouldn't make much a difference what my post and there wouldn't be much of a point of reading it, would there? :) Lol but if I was unclear, I apologize and I've edited my post to accommodate your observations. Thanks :)

Does anyone know how to get the rainbow effect on the icons in the Metrostation Icon Pack ?

You need to click the icon that you want. Then choose the colour. It should then auto save for you to use. Took me 5 mins to work out

Yes I know about the single color option and how that is done, but not sure how you get the rainbow effect?

Photoshop or any other image editor with gradient layers.

There's no option to get that effect through your device.

There is I've just done it with that icon pack as I also have it.

If you use simple text icon you can use that. Well it's sort of similar.

What launcher are you using to get that effect?

I'm using nova. With that icon pack all I have to do is long press the icon. It saves the icon with the rainbow effect.

With simple text icon thing it looks similar but you can only fade 2 colours like red going through to yellow for example.

Ah, thanks for the clarification. I haven't used Nova in awhile.

Sorry to derail this thread everyone!

I don't have any new homescreens to post at the moment, but here are some old random shots I took for fun...
