Post Your Last Purchase

I've had it for a week+, but I forgot to post! It's my new System76 laptop; Joy Noelle fully approves:

It's my second purchase from System76; they only sell Linux computers, and they're of great quality. It came with Ubuntu 20.04 pre-installed, but I--of course!--replaced that with my favorite distro, Kubuntu. Its screen is 17.3" like my previous one, and its keyboard is a full, computer-sized keyboard with numeric keypad and all.

When it's starting up, its backlit keyboard alternates colors: red, green, then blue. Very cool.

I love it! :D

Groceries that is about it, nothing major - I kind of forgot to put up stylist, like temp ones, they are great on my cell and tablet, no need to get another samsung stylist though. I can still screen shot with my cell any time :)

I have not purchase anything huge in a while, thinking of getting a tv with a tiny frame around it.
Maybe that one will not get so warm though, but I keep glancing at the tv like it was a fat kid eating cake.

Being as I love to cook.. especially smoke meats, I decided it was time to up my game in the knife area. Every knife I own are cheap, sharpened to death knives that I've used for decades. I bought a nice slicer and a chef knife and tossed out what I've been using. I went with Dalstrong Gladiator series for both knives. 10" Chef & 12" Slicer

Very nice. :)

I bought a five pound bag of Cajun peanuts from the coop. I buy them ever fall. They sure are good.

Are they shelled? We have a couple of old-time peanut bars around here and without the shells all over the place, it's just another Applebee's. ;)

The coop sells in the shell, Cajun or plain. One, five, and twenty five pounds at a time. Two years ago I bought a twenty five pound box and divided them up for xmas presents to friends at the cabin. They are a huge hit down there. I bought a five pound sack for down there when I bought mine... just in case we can get together this year.

Eating the peanuts makes one hellova mess. I'm only allowed to eat them on the patio or in my office (both spaces are mine to maintain :) )
