Post your Speed Test results here!

I got the update last night

0.11 Mbps down 0.12 Mbps up

phone has 4 bars showing H+

Yes, I have restarted and pulled the battery several times and tried multiple servers.

Before the update I was getting 1.5-2.5 down, 0.3-0.5 up.

Rooted with no update. I edited the build prop files.

268 ms Ping, 152K down, 76K up

Will try at home tonight to see if it's any better, this has to be the poorest results in the thread....

Took the battery out, re-ran the speed test.

272 ms Ping, 152K down, 43K up

If you folks are on 4G, I must be on a -7g.....

From King of Prussia (Philadelphia western suburbs)

107 ms Ping, 2.6M down, 1.9M up (comparable to what I get on WiFi at work)

Test Date: May 4, 2011 4:57:13 pm
Connection Type: Hsdpa

Best test results since having the phone

I have an H+ on my bar, but my network type in Settings->About Phone->Network Type is UMTS. What does this combination mean? Here are the results of my speedtest today with 3 bars and the information above:

Server: Bixby, OK
Ping: 261ms
Down: 510kbps
Up: 262kbps

This is AFTER the OTA update last night.

My best on network down was 2.2 mbs avg bout .30mb

up is typically .25

On wifi I've maxed at 6.6 down 1.6 up... trays att averse 12mb plan... laptop usually gets 10-11 down

In 14 recent speed tests (since the update), I've averaged 1.56mbps down and 1mbps up.

I've hit as high as 7.01 mbps down (not included in the 14 recent speed tests - occurred slightly before these tests) and 1.28 mbps up.

I'm very pleased with the update.

Zip 32502 @ 6:10AM 4489/987

Zip 32566 @ 12:25PM 1786/1267

@ home Zip 32536 still running EDGE but promised upgrade by end of year.

Lexington, KY
Unrooted

Got my fastest yet this morning...

6.00 DOWN
1.25 UP

Makes me wonder if they flipped some sorta switch overnite. When I woke up my phone had signal..but wasn't connected to data for some reason. I restarted it...ran a speed test...and pulled the numbers I just listed.

Previously the best I had ever gotten was around 4.5 down...and that was only once. Generally I had gotten 2.5 to 3.5 down on average.

Past couple of days i've been getting these results constantly. I had the hunch they've been doing backhaul here since i was randomly loosing service and switching to Edge a few days ago.

Post-HSUPA update: my speeds are much much better (for my location at least.. :))

Test 1-

DOWN:3438kbps
UP:1060kbps

Test 2-

DOWN: 2504kbps
UP:1085kbps

Test 3-

DOWN:1247kbps
UP:918kbps

I've only tested on the south side Of Tulsa, OK (jenks bixby and ba too) I see we're not on the 4g map.

every time I test I get pitiful d/l during the day like 200kbps-300kbps but I do get 1mbit up pretty consistent.

If I try at night I get 1mb/1mb u/d about 50% of the time, other 50% I get about the same daytime 300kbit/1mbit. I did get as high as 3.5mbit down twice.

there's a 7.5mbit down and a 13.93mbit down both in log once too, not sure if that's correct or not, does show mobile not wifi.

Question: I still have my $30 smartphone personal unlimited I used on my blackjack II. Is that plan not having a "4g" in the name going to limit my speeds at all when we get the backhaul and such installed here?

Ping: 141ms, download: 869kbps, upload: 914kbps. I am in Columbus, Ohio! This is typical. I just called AT&T yesterday and they were supposed to make adjustments to augment my connection. Thoughts? Suggestions?
