quick question does anyone know how to resize the wallpaper image or what is best resolution/size so ALL the picture can show i got a pic of my GF as my wallpaper but i gotta crop it/resize it and all of it doesn't show i want like the whole picture to show wall to wall not the whole things stretch out does any one know what im talking about ?

Ok, so I'm bored...
Anyway, found a colorful hi-res graphic that I've been messing around with.

Here's my home screen using Lightning Launcher (been liking not having a conventional dock):

I also use wave launcher, (which I couldn't get a screen shot of) but basically dragging your thumb up from the lower left corner brings up the "wave" with apps, folders and recent apps.
Also, some of the elements on the wallpaper have a totally transparent icon that I made... For instance, the yellow swirls on either side near the bottom bring up phone and browser. Small swirl at bottom center brings up app drawer.

Then I found a broken screen graphic, which I made much of transparent, and overlaid the wallpaper with it in Photoshop for the lockscreen:

I used my invisible holo lock mod, centered on the broken glass... The "glass-glow" one gives it kind of a 3D ripple under your finger when pressed:

Been messing with WP8 launcher. It finally works good enough to be usable, so I thought I'd rock it temporarily. Seems to have a strange appeal, in a cheesy sort of way.

Beer glass in upper right tile is battery level.
Large tile, center right is contacts and constantly shows random pics from your contact list.
Wide tile near bottom is gallery and it scrolls whatever pics you choose from your gallery.
Messaging and phone tiles show a number for missed calls and new messages.


Lower half of home screen, scrolled up:

All tiles are editable for size, color caption, icon, etc. Folder tiles constantly cycle icons for whatever apps are contained in the folder.


Flick left and full app drawer is to the right.

Kind of busy looking... Definitely a switch from my normal minimalist theme, using Lightning Launcher and Wave Launcher.

Almost forgot the lockscreen. Entire screen slides up to unlock.
