For some reason, my phone is not properly recognizing the USB. It keeps cycling between recognizing it and losing connection. Basically, I keep getting the Low Batter warning (15%, 9%, etc.). I've done multiple battery pulls, tried manually restarting the phone, and tried updating my Rom (CM7 #6 to CM7 #7).
For those that don't Root, I don't think it matters. This doesn't seem like a software/firmware issue, since it had no problem charging this morning or while at work. I got back from run and ran some errands (during which I did some car-charging, but didn't notice whether or not the issue was present then). When I got back, I found that could not properly charge the phone.
Right now, it seems to be taking a charge. I say seems, as I don't dare touch it since the Red LED is lit and I don't want to disturb it.
My questions are the following:
I'd really rather not go to VZW to troubleshoot, as I feel like I should Un-root before I walk in that place. Not that many of them have any idea how to test whether the phone is rooted or not, but not worth the risk that I get the ONE guy that knows what he's talking about. I don't see how Rooting could possibly have caused this; yet, I'd rather not present them the opportunity to pass the buck. Also, I'm not sure how I feel about an SLCD.
