Clinton slams Trump supporters as 'basket of deplorables'

The Democratic nominee for president was speaking at a fundraiser in New York on Friday night when she said, "to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump's supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables."

"The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic -- you name it. And unfortunately there are people like that. And he has lifted them up."

...and proud to be one

Deplorably, Trump is Going to Win

You can’t win an American presidential election without the deplorables’ vote. Deplorables are America’s biggest minority. They might even be the American majority. They may or not be racist, homophobic and so forth, but they know they’re deplorable. Deplorable, and proud. They’re the median family whose real income has fallen deplorably by 5% in the past ten years, the 35% of adult males who deplorably have dropped out of the labor force, the 40% of student debtors who deplorably aren’t making payments on their loans, the aging state and local government workers whose pension funds are $4 trillion short. They lead deplorable lives and expect that their kids’ lives will be even more deplorable than theirs.

in my humble opinion.....

only and idiot ... is proud to be an idiot.
and blame someone else for their idiotic brain
and hoping a bigger idiot to fix it.

well that is just my humble opinion.

I think the article is describing me.
But I won't be so deplorable as to point to other groups as the root cause of my current problems, nor get down with the kind of politician who shamefully exploits the kind of rabble who would assign such blame for theirs.
Donald's long and distinguished record of public service doesn't exactly lead me to believe he has your (or my) best interests at heart. And most everything else about him suggests he isn't the man for the job, even if he did.

IMHO, the worst condemnation should be reserved for his revolving inventory of paid political advisors. The philosophy appears to be something along the lines of:
"In order to win, he should conceal most of what he actually is from a large segment of the public, for the duration of the campaign." They seem to clearly understand that this guy whose brand is largely built upon telling it like it is, and ignorantly shooting from the hip......Shouldn't be allowed to do so, for now. "After we Trojan Horse him into office, and our checks clear......He can revert to form, and then it's somebody else's problem."

I may be given a chance to be proven wrong on this one, but I think we need a Business Man in the top office, who does not owe anyone any political favors.... right now, he is the only one available to pick from....

IMO, he will do what Reagan did, and surround himself with the best there is in each office position.
OMMV on this one though...............

OMMV = "our mileage may vary "

I remember life BEFORE Reagan. When a man could raise a family and his wife could actually be at home with the kids (should she so desire). That sob mortgaged YOUR and your kids future in the guise of defending us from the USSR. Ever since, it takes at least 2 incomes to even survive.

Wonder why crime is so high? There are no more "mothers" at home anymore to kick your ass until "dad" gets home <shudder >, to finish the job.

The young are spoiled rotten and I am as guilty as most in doing so. The "New Republicans" are nothing more than that. It's ALL about "ME," and eff you. "I got mine" is the new standard.

Think about it....

Among Democrats, deep concern about Clinton’s Hispanic strategy

Lagging support among Hispanic voters for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and congressional candidates in crucial races has stoked deep concern that the party and the presidential campaign are doing too little to galvanize a key constituency.

While Clinton holds a significant lead over Republican rival Donald Trump in every poll of Hispanic voters, less clear is whether these voters will turn out in numbers that Democrats are counting on to win. Clinton trails President Obama’s 2012 performance in several Latino-rich states, including Florida, Nevada, Colorado and Arizona. In those same states, on which Democrats’ prospects of retaking the Senate hinge, some down-ballot Democrats remain unknown to many Hispanic voters.

MYSTERY: What was going on with Hillary’s eyes during Philly speech?

During a speech in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Monday, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton appeared to have something quite off about her appearance.

Hillary’s eyes appeared not in-sync with one another, as the left eye looked to be cock-eyed and displaced, especially as she looked towards the left.

A montage of Hillary’s eye-catching moments before a small group of Temple University students can be seen below in footage by The American Mirror.

Do you see Hillary’s cock-eyed moments?

I've been blind in one eye since I can remember. My "good" eye now sucks. Trump has eyes behind his back and "others seeing FOR him." A demagogue is what he really is. If unsure what that means, just Google the term and see the similarities yourself.

But the blind eye is always blind/messed up, whereas Clinton don't look like that 24/7..

Just because one's eyes do weird things doesn't mean squat. In our own personal conversations I totally respect you and your views. What I see wrong is this clueless person running for president. He is supposedly "the party of Lincoln." Well let me just say this: Lincoln was farther left than right when it comes to humanity. His address at Gettysburg is severely flawed when he said that "all men are created equal." Do you honestly believe that Paris Hilton (and the likes) was born equal to a poor kid in Southwest Detroit?

Trump is born of money. Hillary wasn't and has done her best. Has she made mistakes? Most certainly. Did she LEARN from them? I think so. Did Donald learn from his? Definitely. He can screw more than most and simply wash his hands and claim otherwise. Read again what a demagogue is. Fits him to a "T'.

When George HW Bush decides to vote for Hillary over this POS, then that should tell you something. Here's a guy who inherited the Reagan "legacy" when the wall was eliminated (by out spending the USSR at the expense of your children's future).

Trump is no Ronald Reagan (who I personally despise) and he is somehow the same? Ronnie said: "tear down this wall," and Donald wants to BUILD one? Reagan's own children can't stand him...

Nate Silver: Trump surges from 3% to 48% chance of winning

The latest vote projection from elections guru Nate Silver has Republican Donald Trump just six electoral votes short of winning and one point away from equaling Hillary Clinton's popular vote.

The newest Five Thirty Eight survey Trump at 264 and Clinton at 272, two more than needed. It's the closest in recent weeks.

What's more, he has the popular vote within the margin of victory, Clinton 45.4 percent to Trump's 44.3 percent.

Silver is famous for making a prediction of victory and that's nearly close to, Clinton at 51.9 percent and Trump at 48 percent, his closest since the conventions.

what ever any survey says .. NOW...

my prediction...
after the real debates ... TRUMP will be a dumped.
he will be cut down to his true size...
he will be decimated ...

these polls and surveys will show him below 20% (deplorables votes)

will see record turnouts to vote.

I have to disagree with that. Nobody, including you and me, has any idea of what they're really voting for. But everyone knows what they're voting against. That kind of logic is thoroughly unmotivational. A lot of people will happen to be too busy to vote that day.

those that always vote.. will always vote.

because of Trump's appeal to the low brow...
and fear he creates in the rest...

more of the people who normally don't get involved in politics .. have tuned in.

so I will.. agree to disagree.. till Nov... and then we will see.
