Haha, with two more years with AT&T, I'm sure you're shelling out way more than 300 dollars extra for the device...Especially with 4G coming out, you don't want to be stuck for the next two years with 3G.

I don't see 4G gaining enough traction in the next 18+ months to warrant a real downside in being "stuck" with 3G for more years.

Got mine for $99 through ATT.com ($100 off for cust loyalty). I have seen it for $50 through Amazon also. I'm ok with signing on for 2 more yrs b/c there is no way I am shelling out $400+ for just the device.

How did you get that customer loyalty discount?

Thanks for the info in here. I was contemplating spending 499.99 to get a Captivate to use along with my iphone 4. After logging into my account I see that I can get it for 372.00.
