Prl 3023

yeah, i get 2 bars max on 3g 3022prl sometimes, but i never beat 20-25kb/s

Sometimes it jumps to 50kb/s but, i cant complain, i bought a metro for unlimited text and calls, not for fast internet xD at least this fone has wifi, but god it does blow when ur driving and try to use a map app or the browser
 
is it something just plain wrong with my OM? cuz on either 3022 or'23, i get 3g with full bars, but absolutely ZERO data transfer...
 
I've used 3019, 3020,3022, and 3023... 3023 is the best..... Great 3g connection, data and messages are quicker on it than the others....3023 is the best prl. Final answer... If you want a smooth running optimus m, get the bobz rom 2.3.5 fixed version, turn cpu settings to min. 480 max 748.enable all options under performance setting under cyabogenmod settings... And that's all... Phone will run superbly... No freezing no reboots guaranteed. This should help alot of people out... For simple instructions on how to do things just ask. I'll break it down in dummy terms. Lol
 
I get decent data transfer on 3G. I have noticed that upgrading to 3023, I do get more bars consistently. I don't download too much, just like using Pandora and the Navigation features. I just want to try to overclock it.... other than that, it's stock and runs pretty good.
 
Your right @ATLBoy, Optimus M running Bobz rom on 2.3.5, OC 748/480 and on the 3023 PRL with 3G running fine is the best the phone is going to do until we all upgrade...LOL. I think we have tweaked the Optimus M to its max.
 
what part of atlanta are you guys in. In jonesboro the 3g is spotty but yesterday I was at northside hospital and it was on the whole time
 
Alright, I downloaded Orlando and lgnpst and am trying to use the method of updating prl. But lgnpst keeps randomly showing my phone is connected and not connected. I installed. Everything correctly so what could be the problem?

Bad usb wire or port? Have smaller with a friends magic, have to use a certain usb cable and not move it while it's working and connected...
