Accessories Quest for the tightest thinnest EVO Case

I have the red case and after a close inspection of the phone, I see no red residue on the phone.
 
Haven't noticed any residue on the phone from the red snap on case, and I'll pop it off and on a couple times a week, on top of the 90+ degree (and humid) weather we're having. Just have the rub wear on the case where it starts to look a little shiny instead of the matte rubberized finish.

Even if leaves a mark on the phone, it's something that should come off with some alcohol or nail polish remover. It's not scratching your phone, it's leaving something behind.

Was going to try the innocase but I read a review on PPCgeeks.com that the innocase actually felt thicker than the Body glove. I am not a fan of skins either.

I found this one on ebay and wanted to see if anybody had any experience with it.

I just received my order and the case does not fit properly. It exposes one the edges of my phone and it just looks uneven.
 
actually. I just opened my "monster" one, and I agree. The red one I have is a tighter fit and encapsulates equally on both sides. The Monster one doesn't come over the edge on the right side like it does the left. It is uneven. Just running your fingers across the edges, you can feel a difference. And the monster ones were more expensive to boot.
 
People with the Monster one that isn't fitting right, email the seller on ebay and complain. Having ones from another seller, it's clear the Monster one is slightly off, and considering it's more expensive, I'm not happy with keeping it and want to see if they'll offer a refund of some sort. Figure the more that chime in to them, the better.

good to know it's just not me. I have sent an email and haven't heard anything back yet. The PO does say they will replace / return / refund your product if you are not happy. I love the material they use, I just wish it fit correctly.
 
when i first got mine it kind of fit a little uneven, i just forced it in there, also bent it in further before putting it on to achieve a tighter fit. hard to explain, but its perfect now

what's the monster case that you're referring to?
 
I just got my red rubberized case, $5 on ebay, today. I love it. The phone looks like it was made for it. Is it perfect? Of course not. But it is a whole lot better than running sans cover and it costs hardly anything. I highly recommend it.

well, i just got in 2 more cases and they're hands down the best i've gotten so far. i'm so happy that i don't even care about any other cases.

the thin case that everyone's getting, comes in black, blue, red, neon green, purple, etc... well i just got the clear one and wish i'd gotten it to begin with. completely clear, no defects of any kind. i prob won't be using it that much though, admittedly, because i got a smoke argyle tpu case off of ebay from the same seller and the case is a nice fit, buttons too. better than the silicone one i got. if you want pictures of the clear one, let me know and i'll post 'em. as far as the smoke argyle one, i'll link you guys to another thread going on here in the accessories section in just a sec...

here's the thread regarding the tpu case. there's photos. it does lift the device enough off of the surface to keep from scratching the cam.

edit: i take that back. i'll be using both just as much as the other. the slickness of the clear feels wayyyyyyy better than that rubber coat that's on the colored ones you guys are getting.

oh yeah, and i ordered them on friday, they were shipped saturday, and of course arrived today. i'd highly recommend that particular seller.
 
I like the red because it is rubberized and the color accents the red that is already on the phone. Clear is nice but I can't imagine it is rubberized. Or is it?

it's not. i got annoyed eventually with the feel of it. so i'm opposite of you and others i suppose.
 
All these ebay cases there's so many. I have the Innocase II right now in this Amethyst purple. It has paint chipping off of it and I can see black so there sending me another one but they didn't have the same purple it's a little darker plum color. But I wanted an otterbox or casemate barely there and now i am seeing these Epik cases. Does the epic just cover the back and not the front. I kind of want a snap on front and back like I had on my TP2 instead of the way the Innocase II slides on from top to bottom. The Epik case seems cool though I wish there was a pink one. I don't know which case I'll get next. My Inncoase the Calrivue screen protector lifts in the corner when taking it off and putting it back on.
 
I bought the 3 pack phone covers from Sprint for $24.99, but I'm thinking about returning them for some of the eBay cases. Are they really that good? They look really slim and thin! But the residue is what's bothering me. Any reccomendations?

yes, they're really that good as long as you know what to get exactly.

Get a black one?

I got the stupid thin one on ebay in black and its great. Its like its not even there but is just barely thick enough to elevate both the camera and the screen. Its only slightly more rubberized than the stock evo back so it doesnt snag in pockets and such.
 
I just received the smoke argyle case and outside of my normal OCD stuff the case is great for $7.95
 
I just ordered 2 from EPIK, one in white and one in green. I ordered a black one from Paw Ave yesterday. Can someone post impressions of the EPIK one soon as they receive it? I don't mind doing so but will have to wait at least 2 weeks for it :(
