Accessories Quest for the tightest thinnest EVO Case

They could've not let it air out before packaging. Shouldn't be a problem. A lot of plastics, foams and paints need to air out after extruding, molding, painting and such.

It is interesting how much better in the hand it feels over the innocase. I know the coverage is different, but ergonomics goes a long way.

The problem there is those types are usually tough to get apart when you want to take them apart and very easy to come apart when you drop the phone. At least that's been my experience with them. Also, the ones that are designed that way are generally bulky as they are usually the uber cheap asian ones with thicker plastic and way too much coverage up front.

I got a feeling we're going to see lots of these red encased Evo's in the wild. In regards to foam or what night. Just give the phone and inside of the case a quick wipe before putting it on. Should take care of anything that could scratch it.

And like dbpaddler said, the lens is now raised about a millimeter off the table so it doesn't rest on it anymore. I wish there was padding on the inside to make sure that it wont scratch the phone, but otherwise, it looks great!

I ordered both a black and a red yesterday!
 
I ordered mine last Sunday from the first ebay link on here and I still have not got mine, i emailed the seller and the email bounces back, wtf ?

it took 5 days for the silicone one to come and 6 for the hard case. this was after they were shipped.

no, i didn't. my screen protector is from clarivue. it's the ultra-clear one and i love it. originally i was gonna get another one from Steinheil but i think i'm gonna leave it alone and stick with the clarivue.

so, yeah i didn't get one that came with the screen protector because i already have one.
 
Anybody have this case and hip holster combo? I want to know if it will slide into a holster without any problems.

I got the black one friday best case ive seen so far can hardly tell its on however the rubber coating is already starting to peel off at the corners from sliding in my pocket, cant complain for $7.95 though ill just buy another one when it starts to peel badly

really? i've tried scratching the back of mine with my finger nail and nothing happened.

My red one is starting to peel on the front corners also. The back seems like it is still ok though. Curse these threads, I didnt even notice it until I read about it and checked mine to see if it was happening. haha. Oh well, it was cheap. It should last until Case-mate or Incipio comes out with their Barely There cases. Worse comes to worse, I'll just get another for 5 bucks! I do wonder how they can offer these things so cheaply. Probably just skimming off the molds that were sent to them by Incipio or Casemate and running the factories under the radar. haha.
 
^^i saw one of these at one of those chinese-run cell phone case stands in the mall. all they had was the neon green (no thanks) and they were charging $15!!! yeah right, if i can get it off ebay for $5 shipped, then you ordering in bulk straight from the motherland are paying next to nothin, nice try
 
haha...well it still attracts attention. Did all weekend, and I'm sure when i go into my iphone oriented hospital tomorrow (bunch of docs and nurses all have them), they'll be asking about it. You almost don't think it's a casewhen you see it on.
 
I just bought a black, red and grey argyle silicone case. talk about impulse buying.LOL:D i just paid less for 3 cases then the one i got from best buy so u know im taking it back.
 
Got a Black One looks nice, fits perfectly..

Cons doesnt feel like its going to protect it imo..and it smelled like paint. Might kill me? lol
 
got my red on in today. Love it. Almost purely aesthetic though, doesnt protect anything but the back of the phone and lifts the lens off a bit (but im fine with that as I was goin naked before anyway). But i LOVE the look of it, especially the thin red strips from the front.

best $5 ive spent
