Root Question about Flashing O/C Patch

Hey Everyone,

So I just used the 1 click method to root my Eris. I also d/l'd the O/C patch from XDA. I made a Nandroid backup and tried to flash the patch from my sd. I can't figure out how to put the O/C patch on the top level of my sd card so when I go to flash it, it will read the O/C patch and not rootme.zip. I'm fairly new to all things droid and everyone on here has been so super helpful answering all my questions and rooting and everything other question I had. Thanks to anyone who can help me out.
