Help Question about Signature

Hi,

I'm having trouble trying to set a personal signature on my HTC EVO Shift. I don't have the messaging option in my menu as I've seen it suggested in a web search. Can anyone help?

Sometimes going into the forum for your particular device helps. Have you checked the HTC EVO Shift forum?

To add a signature in GMAIL, do the following:

1. GMAIL app
2. Menu
3. More
4. Settings
5. Signature

To add a signature in the stock mail app, do the following:

1. Mail app
2. Menu
3. More
4. Settings
5. General settings
6. Use Signature

You cant set a signature for text messaging on that phone. Well you can, if you use Handcent SMS instead of the stock app.

I had checked through the search mode of the EVO Shift forum and found nothing. This is why I posted a question. I will check to see if what you recommended will work.

I did it in the stock mail app. Only the had the phone since yesterday so I didn't know I could do settings on the actual mail screen. It worked so thank you very much!

Great! Glad all worked out!

FYI - every app has its own settings. You'll set notifications for your apps via the app settings.
