S-off is easier than rooting

I'll take your word for it and give it a go tonight. It's fear of the unknown after what I've been through and I wasn't planning on going s-off just because its one more thing to go wrong. But there are benefits so I will give it a go.

Currently I have ran a RUU and unrevoked before, so its familiar to me. That is why I was leaning to doing that again.

New things to me are s-off, flashing anything, and gparted, so I'm a little nervous. I tried doing gparted the other day in prep for A2SD+ and couldn't detect my card (only pc showed). Do you think that's because my clockwork recovery is bad as I should be using amonra?

Alpharev 1.8 could not detect my model, so I guess it's RUU and re-root with Amon-ra.

OK, Im rooted and Amon-RA'd.

Now to work out the gparted once Titanium backup gives me back all my apps and stuff.

Well I've tried Leedroid hd and it was ok, bit too bloated. Now on Insertcoin and it feels a little lighter.

Got A2SD+ working so that's good, and have downloaded a muiu and asop Rom to try one day.
