Question To Those Apple Users Not Owning Android

You automatically subscribe to threads you post in... so they are always checked... plus the site emails you when new posts are posted in those threads.

To be fair, there are in fact some posters here whos feelings towards Iphone users borders on a raw hatred usually reserved for hate rallies. It is the nonsense they regurgitate that i criticize and it is those posters who end up on the ignore list. If i am shown curtesy then it will be returned, as i try my best to keep the discussions on target and free of petty personal insults or generalizations.

Any reason i give regardless of its content will be "debunked" because i do not use a droid phone. I gave my reasons and there is no arbitrary "pass/fail" scale that they must measure up to.

Im beginning to think it was a mistake to even answer the OP in this thread. I already answered the question twice when i didnt even have to answer it once--or at all even.

Unless you change you settings in the User CP to NOT automatically subscribe to threads you post in. Last thing I need is my inbox getting filled with posts from the different forums I'm in.
 
its debunked because the only thing you are "interested" in is arguing about apple. seriously, send me a link to a post where you discuss android features without bringing up apple. you probably post links to all your posts here onto the apple forum for all your buddies. i'm not hating on you for having an iphone, or calling you a fanboy, and I personally like most apple products. All I'm saying is don't make up bullshit excuses for being here, when we ALL know it's only to stir up trouble. You can say what you like, but I see right through it. iPhone users are always welcome here if they contribute useful feedback instead of generating conflict at every opportunity. THIS is why you are repeatedly called a troll. Because you are one

This was supposed to be a simple thread and its unfortunate that trolls have already slithered in here solely to make conflict with me and other apple users.

I already answered the question, twice. If anyone is confused or feel entitled to an answer that more accurately places me in that caricature that they believe about apple users, please re-read post #55. :)

agreed, your opinions are always reasonable and welcome hrethgir. you actually DO have an interest in android devices, and you're not just here for the sake of arguing :D in fact that goes for pretty much ALL the iphone users here EXCEPT alieno. mrspeedmaster always provides a good and informative read and even intervenient, although at rare times close to alieno's level, isn't too bad either:p

Not really trying to pile on Alieno, but I agree when it comes to mrspeedmaster. I first found out how good the iPhone 4 screen was cuz of him.

He comes with some very informative posts.

We should all get along, the only difference between us is the preference with cellular phone use :)

Iphone or droid, doesnt matter, theyre good phones all around

So wait wait wait... the Android users on an Android forum are the trolls here, while the apple users(not all btw) who start the conflict and controversy defending apple on an android forum are somehow the innocent ones?

How does that work?

I can't participate in this thread anymore. My wife needed a new phone, she's been having lots of dropped-call issues (also on AT&T with a basic LG CU400 flip phone), so we decided to try Verizon. While in there, they made it worth my while to switch over myself, and now have a Motorola Droid X on order, should ship by the end of the month :)
 
I like phones in general. I now own an iPhone 4, but what got me to this forum in the first place was the EVO 4G.

I've waited for that phone forever ever since the HTC HD was released. I waited for an android equivalent. IMO it didn't live up to what I wanted, so I swapped it out. I await until there is a phone on the Android platform that impresses me.

I suspect I'll convert back to Android whatever the OS is called after Gingerbread. I'm super anal about polish. If the OS stutters even the slightest bit, its being returned.

Exacty. I'm about to renew but I had a lot of trouble choosing a phone. Why? Because both the iPhone 4 and Captivate are amazing phones. I prefer the ability to customize so I will go for the Captivate.

My friends have iPhones (4) and it's a pleasure playing on it. The phone is great. Just my personal preference is - I would probably get bored with the 'closed' nature of the phone.
