Hey Chris, just out of curiosity, what steps did you take after first installing Apex?
Did you restore apps or any data or anything?

Haha, Steven is doing allot of running today, better take it easy old man, don't wanna have to remember my emergency training.

To be honest I really don't remember. I installed it earlier today. So far Apex ROM has been working good.

Possibly. I will recap what I am doing again, and maybe we can find the problem.

I am downloading the theme to my computer
Plug my phone in
Copy the them from my computer to my phone
Unplug phone
Open bootstrap
I click both of the buttons there, starting with the top one.
After it reboots I get the the computerclock screen
I go to install from SD card
I find the theme and install
I go back and reboot
Phone freezes on Moto logo.

Well, that sounds like you are doing everything right. How long did you wait after reboot? I think I recall you waiting for awhile.
Then when it stays on the moto "m" how do you get it ot boot again?

Oh yeah, you should only need to hit the reboot recovery button. Once you have done the bootstrap recovery and apply permissions, it should stick.

Yeah I waited like 20 minutes. Before that I waited about 45.

I pulled the battery out. That took me back to the clockwork screen and I did a recovery.


I am back at the original Apex v1.4.1. Again, the ROM seems to work fine. I just can't figure out the themes :(
 
whats your battery at?
i usually mount sytem, but some dont.
wodnering possible other issue with rom install? doesnt seem like it would work without a theme if so....

I always select /mount system. When I don't I freeze. Someone here said you don't have to, though. Humor me and try it.
