10 minutes... I hold them both 10 minutes and it's time to come inside!

I have thought about what I will do when my cat has reached the end. Will I put him out of his misery, let him go naturally even if it is prolonged and painful, or spend a couple hunderd bucks to have a vet do the deed.
Hate thinking about it, but I think a decision is best made before the need to arises.

I'd choose option 1 or 3. There's no point in letting a loved one suffer, regardless of what species it is.

I had a cat that was around from when I was two until I was 26. I did the deed because she was terrorized going to the vet. She was at the end without a doubt.

My childhood dog was brought to the vet and put down in my arms. It was a terrible experience on many levels, and he suffered for days leading up to it. The trip to the vet and the short period he was there was likely even more stressful for him, and that is what drives the conviction inside me to do the deed myself.
Blech. I hate thinking about this.

How 'bout that weather?
