I decided to take a risk and flashed a custom ROM on my G3. I have no regrets about it at all.

What ROM did you pick?

Congrats. A friend of mine just upgraded to a G3 from the GNex. He's really enjoying it(although I'm enjoying rubbing it in that I got Lollipop before him).

I had Lollipop for 2 days, lol. Currently the G3 has 4.4.2, 5.0 is already in testing apparently, I'll be patient! Have to say the G3 display is nothing short of amazing.

I'm not going to root my G3, 5.0 should be out soon. I rather like the change of the UI from stock Android. Maybe CyanogenMod when they have a M series that is stable.

That looks soo good right now. My neighbor, she's from Africa, and sometimes she makes this kind of soup something, I don't know. She brings it over and it's sooo good.

This G3 phone is impressive. Just surfing, the better half texts me, a drop down window shows up about 1/4 way down the screen with the senders name and a spot to reply. Hit my reply and went on surfing without having to switch screens. 😎
