For my needs S Health seems to do what the paid version of Runtastic does. First walk with it tonight:

Most of the Nexus partners have often sold their own version of the nexus device. Nexus 4(LG Optimus G), Nexus 5(G2), Nexus 6(basically a stretched Moto X 2014). The Nexus S was basically a Galaxy S.

Don't think they'll be selling that in their home country, except perhaps an expurgated non-Google version that isn't called "Nexus". Probably be called Huawei Ascend... something or other.
How could Huawei even be considered for any Nexus phones being as they're one of the most locked down mfgrs ever? I ask because I thought Google was supposed to be about choice. Huawei is like 1st gen Ford cars: "you can have any color you want, just so long as it's black" - Henry Ford. [emoji12]

Yeh, that's Huawei made for US carriers, like Verizon Wireless, etc. Can assure you if you buy your Ascend Mate or whatever from China Mobile, it's very easily rooted and unlocked, and they got plenty different devices available, "can have any color you like". :thumbsupdroid:

Nexus 6 is Motorola, and their Droid devices for Verizon can be as locked down as hell AFAIK. Nexus has also been made by Samsung, they produce some of the most locked devices there is with KNOX.

Huawei are a truly global multinational telecoms company, like Moto or Samsung, in fact they much of the cellular plant that the carriers use.

I had a Huawei g300 and it was amazingly hackable... Bootloader open and had a thriving Dev community. Suspect that it's their big us network customers they are trying to please by applying the locks....

In other news their honor range seems to offer a lot of bangs for the buck... So a honor Nexus sounds very interesting
