I was thinking if I wanted a kindle paperwhite.
You're probably holding one of the best eBook readers in your hand at this moment.. And you've already paid for it. [emoji6] Check out CoolReader.apk in Playstore. Really good, lots of display options too. I've got like a cpl hundred Mb in epubs alone.. Read all but a cpl so far.

Well, i am currently using my smartphone and an ereader app so I guess there's no real need.

I use my smartphone as an ereader. I also use my 7" tablet as an ereader. The tablet works better, because I can see the words easier, and I need to turn the page less often. I bought my wife a Kindle Paperwhite, because it's easier to read in the daylight, particularly outside (eInk FTW), but reading at night is an entirely different animal. The Paperwhite has a smaller formfactor (my tablet is in an OtterBox case, which doubles the thickness and adds some heft, but that is crucial for me to protect my investment), and is pretty light, so one can read single-handedly for quite a while before the hand and arm get tired.

When reading in the dark, I use either my tablet or my phone with the Cobrets app, which applies a dark 'filter' to my screen, allowing me to get my display a lot dimmer than the android system or Kindle reader would allow. It isn't the perfect solution, but it helps (I am dark adapted, and white light hurts my eyes...).

I like Cool Reader because it lets me change the background color as well as the text color, so I can have a pale blue on black, which is overall easier on my eyes when reading in the dark; but I have to do a bunch of stuff to get Kindle books into a usable format for Cool Reader.

Somebody at Marvel/Disney is probably sweating right now.....Ant-Man was a good movie....but lowest $$$ of the MCU so far except for Incredible Hulk.

Eww! Wash hands after use I think.

EDIT:
I can understand such a disgusting looking thing being found in vehicle workshop or engineering place. But this was on the counter of an office supplies and stationery shop, and usually they're quite fastidious about cleanliness and presentation.

I do prefer a real book, if I'm on a comfy chair or couch. I like to read before I go to sleep, and holding a big hardcover open and having the light hit the book just right while in a comfortable position can be a pain. Now that I need reading glasses it's even more of a hassle. I haven't had it very long, but so far I really like the Paperwhite.

I nearly always have e-books, because it's frequently the only way to get the books I need, that are good and suitable English textbooks. Plus it's more difficult to copy and paste from a real paper book with a computer.

I've never been much of a novel reader, very seldom read a book cover to cover.

I read e-books because I can check them out at the library, they are free and easier to read on a pad. They have lots of James Patterson books which are my favorite.
